Torres down with another dodgy hamstring problem
I know hes a Liverpool player but I fear he's turning into another Owen with his injury problems and I dont want to see a great player like him waste away.
As for the match Newcastle are horrendous and deserve to be relegated.

Glad to see Newcastle's almost inevitable relegation but still. No surprise to see Liverpool stroll past them. Not that I saw it. I wasn't there and I didn't watch it, but I imagine by the score line that is what happened.

I half expected Newcastle to get something...they've got to show some fight sooner or later. They appointed a manager whose one trait was his ability to gee up the team, they trotted that guy with the flag out vs Portsmouth, gave free scarves etc..and they still weren't up for the fight. They are showing no positive signs what-so-ever and are going down without so much as a whimper.

Newcastle were never gonna get anything from this game at all. The problem with them is that there is some decent players who won't even give a shit if they go down because they know they can move onto a better side.
I don't even give a shit to be fair. Newcastle are the biggest joke in the Premier league, even more so than our neighbours, and this 'big club' title that the fans give themselves is laughable. Clubs like Leeds and probably even Nottingham Forest are bigger. I would be happy to see them go down. Same with Boro who are a disgrace to the fans who show up every week because season after the season, they turn up against the big sides, shite against every fucker else. Cheating the fans. If they want to get a vital win, sack Southgate. They'll get good results until a new manager shows up and they turn shit again.

Newcastle have some good players (Nicky butt nanananana) but no fight. What does Owen care if they go down, I'm sure half of their team want to because of religation release clauses.

Their players don't seem to give a hoot. If they'd care a bit more , they wouldn't be in the relegation dogfight. I'd like to see both Boro and Newcastle go down.

Apparently the genius (Dennis Wise probably) who negotiated these contracts didn't bother with such clauses... Imagine paying Owen 120K a week to visit the physio's room in the Championship...
