Saha 1-0, great goal after the first minute.
Got money on Saha to score first, Everton to win 1-0 at 60/1... C'mon!

I was hoping Everton would win, but as usual they disappoint.

Decent game all round, Everton's lack of midfield quality let them down in the end. But to be honest, if Arsenal don;t spend alot of money in the summer, they're only 2 or 3 players off being in the top 4 again!

Scored too early.
Good game though and Chelsea ran out deserved winners.
The commentators baffled me, saying Chelsea were back to their successful ways?

chelsea dominated, unfortunately everton couldn't keep overcoming the odds, yakubu, arteta and jakielka would of been dead handy today. Hiddink is obviously a top coach, look at malouda for example looks a world class winger since hiddink took over, more like the player at lyon. Drogba also. I think losing hiddink will set them back not push them forward.

i thought it was quite a poor game to be honest. everton looked good early on but after a while all they were doin was hoofin the ball up to their strikers and fellaini who couldnt keep hold of it and chelsea just picked it up and woul attack again. chelsea were deserved winners and maloudas goal/not a goal was a cracker aswell.

I wanted Everton to win. Watched it with a few of the lads but all were Liverpool fans funnily enough.
I thought Lescott made one mistake and it cost Everton the game, he was helped in no small part by Hibbert watching Malouda put in an inch perfect cross to take out a static back line.
Everton came out of the game with very little credit on the day to be honest as far as I'm concerned though two things should be remembered. First off they had a great cup run and fully deserved their victory over us.
Second, they were missing Arteta, Jagielka and Jo, three players that would have improved them greatly and made for a much more entertaining and even game.
I still don't see the hype about Cahill. Good player but no where near as good as some people make out.
Lampard has had a fine season and though I really dislike him it was just rewards for him.
The one man however who I was actually pleased for was Hiddink. He has shown his class at Chelsea and Malouda I believe will feel his exit more than anyone as he has been a revelation under him.
All in all quite an entertaining cup final.
Can someone tell me if Essien was injured? Surely that is the only reason Hiddink would take him off.

haha I was thinking the same thing about Malouda.....that guy has woken up around Guus and decided to not be a utter bust and waste of money for that team.
