I remember watching it over and over and over. Would probably get my vote. Off on a different tangent, watching these things always makes me wonder. When you see Le Tissier goals (quite a few of them) he does quite remarkable things that you very rarely see these days. Is it to with how the football itself was in those days, or were the footballers just better?

You know the one, he won the ball in our own left-back position and within about 5 passes had the ball in the Blackburn net to seal a hat-trick. Best goal of the season it was. Perhaps 7even would be good enough to provide a link to a video of it, for some reason I think he might have one handy. . .

Fletch - no. Plain and simple fact is that Le Tiss was a decent footballer but the oppo was shit back then.
And all of you who viewed this thread or commented (5 comments, 47 views) need shooting really.
This was said goal:
The fact it didnt get a mention is absolutely disgraceful. There have been plenty of amazing goals, but when this doesnt even get a nomination then the whole thing needs to be null and void really. Red specs or not, there have been extremely few players - Bergkamp, Cantona, Henry, etc included - who would have been capable of that!

Fuck sake PL. Surely having these goals available on YouTUbe is a great advert for the Premier League. Stupid wankers.
Some great goals there. Sure, some are missing, but they're all pretty beautiful in their own way. HArd to choose really.
BEst United goal on that list - Scholes's v Bradford. Think it was a harder skill than Rooney's v Newcastle.
Best non-United goal - Le Tissier's v Blackburn or Bergkamp's v Newcastle, imo.
In response to Fletchabey, I think it's a fitness thing. I don't think players get as much time and space on the ball any more because the game is a lot faster. Back then, I think the best players had more time to think about what they were doing.
Just a theory, mind.
