Could have predicted the Haye/Klits 'Collect the Set' fight.
Khan/Bradley would be woth watching I reckon. What do we think of Khan moving weight divisions, is he ready? I'm not sure, like someone said earlier he still can be naive at times and he would be punished for that if he carried it on.

The Haye/Vitali fight was always going to happen. Retirement my arse. All for the money as I reckon he will get a pummelling. If Bradley keeps on avoiding Khan then Khan should just move up as the welterweight division has the better fights. It is a division which requires versatility so he ought to have shaken his naivety or he'll be made to know about it.

khan can do well moving up as he has the right training team, he just needs to pipe down on the fighting manny and floyd, those 2 would beat him clean. as for haye, he was really really poor in the last fight and i dont see how other than the fact his trash talk will sell tickets lands him the fight. either way i'll be watching the action, i hope david redeems himself

Cotto stops Margarito in the ninth round. Margarito's eye was a mess way before then.
Chisora lost too which isn't much of a surprise.

mate the fight with cotto was similar to the first, you could tell at times cotto just wanted to hurt him rather than win and those were the rounds margarito did well in. if floyd cant fight manny then it makes sense to fight cotto who is the 3rd biggest draw after floyd and manny. the fight would rake in dollars and then come december floyd can fight manny or khan depending on how the latters career goes.

Shoulda woulda coulda. Khan had all the attributes to beat him but he didn't utilise them properly. Too much talk and self promotion. Boo hoo.

Froch was going to get beat all day long but that was a dazzling performance by Ward last night.
Froch's defeat means British boxers have now lost 10 world title fights out of 12 in 2011, leaving Cleverly as the country's sole world champion.
And I can't stand Cleverly.

I watched the whole fight and to be honest, Khan was clearly the better fighter and he took the hits on his chin really well. It is a shame that Peterson didn't get penalised for putting his head down a million times. The referee was definitely a homer in that match and in a neutral venue with a neutral referee, Khan would win, with a possible UD victory.

He hasn't backed up anything enough and doesn't deserve fights with Mayweather and Pacman. And this is coming from somebody who has admitted there has been a good change in him. He should have blown Peterson away not only for himself but to send a message out to the rest of the boxing world. There wouldn't have been any room for controversy had he of hammered him. I wouldn't bet against Bradley coming forward now.

I agree with you about the fact that he doesn't deserve fights with Pacman nor Mayweather but, he showed enough against Peterson that he is better now, than he was against Prescott. Peterson was there to spoil the fight and to be honest, Khan was the more aggressive fighter on the night. If the referee had been Cortez, then Peterson would clearly have had a point deducted too for hitting low, for keeping his head down whilst being warned about it on a million occasions. Khan gets penalised for pushing at least twice in 12 rounds, that is not fair play from the referee whatsoever. For those times he pushed Peterson, he tried in vain to explain to the referee, but he was having none of it. I dislike Khan for a number of reasons, but that night he was clearly robbed of a UD.

But that is what I'm saying, it shouldn't have even gone to a UD. If we badger our own football players about giving it large and not living up to standard then other sports athletes can receive the same. His record will be compared to past boxers, like always, and if he carries on he will always be that boxer from Bolton. What winds me up with any team or athlete is the excuses afterwards. Yeah so things didn't go entirely their way but there wouldn't be a problem if they were clinical enough. The sad thing about Khan is he has it but he doesn't exploit it enough.
Ah ha. I would say nothing but sweet things about our Tom.

The cobra? More like limp dick! Ali and FMJ talk the talk, but they could walk the walk. Our fighters need to keep quiet. Do the business, then talk the shite! Ward looked classy though.

I agree in some aspects, I would like some fighters to talk less and fight more, but you have to remember a large chunk of the fighters popularity ($$$$) is done via they're talking. Btw i dont think Froch has anything to be ashamed about from that fight, Ward has the potential to be an all time great, he is that good. And froch was just tailor made for him - come forward, low guard, no head movement.. Froch is still a beast. I actually rate him as the toughest man in boxing... You need to hit him with a bus to KO him, he has an Iron clad chin
