1. Show Me What You Got
Review
Well I've got hold of the album and have decided to give you my thoughts on it.
He's no longer rapping about drug dealing and hood life. He's thirty-eight year old (well, soon to be) so it's not expected, he's living the life but still coming with the hot shit.
With special guest appearances from hip hop legend, Dr. Dre, Ne-Yo, producer Just Blaze, Kanye West and Coldplay's Chris Martin this album is in good hands.
Jay-Z teams up with Just Blaze on titular track, "Kingdom Come" dropping his lines over a Rick Jame's "Super Freak", the tune is hot.
He addresses his beef with Cam'ron on "Dig A Hole", hooks up with his wifey on "Hollywood" and in the most sincere track of the album "Minority Report", featuring Ne-Yo produced by Dr. Dre he gives his thoughts on the political shambles of the California floodings.
The album is hot, he boasts about his style, entrepreneural side and addresses some of the hip hop and political world's problems. The track with Chris Martin stands out, the self-named "Superman", "King of NY", "Hip Hop's Saviour" is back because "the game needs" him.
It's ya boy, H.O.V.A. is back!
ADAM
P.S. I can bring you reviews of "The Game - Doctor's Advocate", "Snoop Dogg - Tha Blue Carpet Treatment" or "Boyz II Men - The Remedy" all are latest albums, none are released yet I don't think but I've got them and can tell you what I think if anyone's interested.
