Back on topic, got a good look at Ribery last night, and I must say I was impressed. Sounds strange for a guy whose team were hammered but he never hid, always wanted to be involved and consistently beat his man. In a good team I'd say he'd cause serious problems for a lot of sides.

he is always in a poor team, i.e france aswell and he shines, only concern is in a bigger team with better players how will he fair where he aint the star man? he has all the attributes to be huge no doubt. howvere barca are talking him up big time, after there performance i wouldnt blame him for wanting to go there they could probably give cash and hleb who bayern are inteested in.

Yeah Barcelona seems likely. I'd say Ronaldo will go this season or next, so we either need to make a big money signing or push a player up. Nani is a great player all he needs is games and trust. I don't like Ribery, is Silva an option?

I will admit, i did indeed miss the Sunderland game. But i did read in the blog that he tracked back and helped, and also heard it from another friend. I think the Porto game should be an interesting showing. Oh, it would be fantastic if we won, i'm really looking forward to it. I think we can win it.

Haha i'm not sure i want him to go now either:P. Silva and Ribery wont generate a goal like that. Yes Ribery hit one on the weekend but its wasn't 40 yards.

Ribery looks to be a hell of a player, but we have spent an aweful lot of money for the last few years and at the risk of becoming galacticos and spending ridiculous amounts i'm sure we can find alternatives.
I think it's unrealistic he'd come this summer if the only issue with the squad is Tevez's will it won't be transfer as we've spent give or take 25 million on 2 young wingers in the previous few years with one seemingly content to earn his pay packet in the reserves and the other proudly claiming the most selfish player of the year award from Ronaldo. (I'm talking about Tosic and Nani)

to be fair to tosic, he really hasnt been given a chance. his just came back from injury and was extremely unlucky not to score, from what i have read. but i do agree with your opinion, sky sports, that we have spent some money, so in saying that i would like to give tosic, and nani, more game time next season, or even this season to see if they really can cut it at united.

tosic should be given a go and by all accounts valencia is the winger coming in this summer. as for nani i think he maybe another quaresma, in that very talented but will produce one performance in 5/6 games, that really is good for a mid table side at best not a side that challenges at the very top. we also have lljacic coming in and he is a winger so its pretty tight, we may see him and valencia right park tosic left, nani is touch and go as to whether he will be given another year

Tosic is exactly like Park but with a better final ball, I wouldn't mind Valencia if we miss out on Ribery...a cheaper alternative and I think Brucey would be willing to swap him for Nani and some cash. I'd be all over that!!! Nani is rubbish. And I'd also take Ribery over Tevez. However...sell Ronaldo and we can have both!! gotta keep tevez should see if bayern want to swap berbatov and nani for ribery as they are both shite!!!!
