Ride The Lightning for me. Never really liked Megadeth so much though - just the odd song here and there.
And since we're on the topic of thrash metal - Slayer's Reign in Blood definitely deserves a mention!

One is my favourite Metallica song - but I prefer Megadeth. Much better songs, though Metallica are generally better live.

I'm a Megadeth fan but I have to dispute this. Youthanasia and Cryptic are very different in a good way, because I really like them, but Risk was definitely an attempted sell out album. As for the Tallica vs Megadeth debate, I prefer Megadeth but I wouldn't really say they have better songs, just personal preference I guess. I love both bands.

A lot of metal fans are idiotic and confuse evolution with "selling out". I don't even like Kill Em All much to be honest.

It's an opinion, and in my opinion Megadeth have the better songs. And there's plenty of other people that feel the same way.

Hetfield lyrics:
The invisible kid fell down the grid, that's what he did.
Yes, epic indeed!

This has just sort of turned into a "song recommendations reincarnate" thread really. . .
