Cricket World Cup starts tomorrow Still remember the moment when Dhoni hit the winning six on last World Cup. Anyone else excited other than me? Yup very excited. The perennial underdogs NZ look very strong. Aus remain the favorites though. Indian chances doesnt look great, but the format is unpredictable. 3 good games and an upset at the other end of the draw could upset the odds.

NZ is an underrated team, I think they have the capability to reach Semis and with some luck I think they can win the tournament. Australia and South Africa are the favorites imo, India need to score more than 300 in every match to win the World Cup (which I don't think is possible). Don't have much hope for the subcontinent sides and West Indies look weak without Pollard, Bravo and Narine.

Yes, Aus, NZ and SA looked nailed on for semis berth if the draw doesnt pit them against each other in the quarters. The 4th spot is anybody's guess with Eng, Ind and Pak fighting hard. Eng could surprise a few and reach the semis solely because of the supportive conditions.

NZ has won its opening match comfortably and Aus look to be on course. Both have followed a similar pattern. Strong start by openers and finished off devastatingly by allrounders Corey Anderson, Maxwell and Haddin

Group stages are more like just formalities, From Group A England, Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand and From Group B South Africa, India, Pakistan and West Indies will easily qualify for the quarter finals.

First bowler in history to be on hattrick twice in a ODI and being able to convert one. But, agree with you, it was more of batsmen throwing their wickets away than the bowler earning it. Hat-trick nevertheless

Don't watch cricket much, but that was a catch n'half Don't watch cricket at all since all the corrupt match fixers were exposed - you never know when a dropped catch, no ball or run out is a bit moody

Virat Kohli what an innings. He was out of form but when it comes to big occasion, he stands up Important supporting innings from Raina

Ireland beat West Indies by 4 wickets, good to see Associate Nations playing so well It would be a bad idea to drop them next World Cup

Ireland have always upset the applecart in WCs. Last time it was England, this time WI already. You can bet on more upsets by Ireland and Zimbabwe.
