I'm with you. The 2008(?) black kit with red piping was the dog's bollocks.

Something does seem a bit weird about it.

But that also means the Glazers willingly lowering prices.

I said i wouldnt buy this years kit cause of the chevy badge... yet i was on here yesterday trying like a madman to get it. So publicity stunt or mistake either way it worked out well for them.

What this showcased is how giant their profit margin on these shirts are.
It probably costs them less than a tenner to produce a single shirt, maybe less, so don't for a second think there was a "glitch".
This was promotional, glitches don't just conveniently lower the prices of a specific set of products.

Well fingers crossed for when the adidas one is out so I can buy a shirt I actually want. Having Mata on the back makes me happier with it though. Definite man crush on him. Rugged, sexy bastard.

Yesterday some links took me through to a site with reduced prices, whereas others took me through to pages showing full priced shirts.
For the techies among us - does that reek of a deliberate mistake? Or might that suggest a coding error with promo codes etc?
What's the dealio?

Have no problem buying the kits for my kids etc but its just hard to justify the prices sometimes espeically give the fact we are changing kit makes.
