kane would cost far far too much, levy would want 50 million and thats no joke. the only dimension walcott adds is in the physio room. honestly good when fit but thats the problem right there, next season will be bigger than this so we need fit and reliable troops. as for otamendi at 18 million even 20 its a good deal as he adds some steel and experience however at the buyout clause he can stay where he is. no.1 transfer target should be adding 4 years onto de gea's contract and if he really wants to go throw in a 40 million buyout clause Thats the trouble i think according to many reports he will sign but if madrid calls he wants to leave, and doesnt want a buyout clause in. If he hasnt signed by the summer we should sell him. Doesnt matter what player it is they shouldnt hold the club to ransom. Hes a very good player but if his hearts not in it long term then we should sell. Agree with that 100%. Not only does it send the wrong message to the other players, it really causes the player to lose the fans that support the club. I hope this isn't going to be a problem, I'd like to see him considered for Captain's armband if he stays, not only does he have the respect of his teammates, I would surely think he has the respect any great player commands around the league.

If bale becomes available we would 100% be in for him, knowing what Woodward is like he would love to be showing him off, if we could recoup the 60 for di Maria then going for bale woud make sense and I would love to see him at us, but saying that if we still don't adress the major problems in the squad it would be pointless getting him

Do people believe Bale is an upgrade on Di Maria?

Do people believe Bale is an upgrade on Di Maria? Putting current situations aside At the moment yes The Premier looks to be a big shock to ADM and he's clearly not happy - Bale is more than proven in this league and a better player than when he left 2 years ago - £100M would be a fair price and getting £50M back for ADM would be good business ... plus we'd get the PG Tips sponsorship deal

If he wants to leave then that's a different story but a top 5 player in the world last year can't be fucked off over a dip in form after an injury. Although it does fuck me off that people use his house being broken into as a reason why he's gone off the boil. It happens everywhere, they didn't even get in the house.

His form was dipping well before the break-in - it is annoying that it is used as the catalyst I just think he underestimated the physicality of the league which is why he started off well and then lost a bit of heart because he was getting fouled/hard tackled a lot every game If he gets used to that and accepts he'll get clattered a lot then he will prove he is still world class - the problem is in his head IMO At the end of the day it will be up to him if he stays (or more likely a bit of chuntering in his ear by his agent)

Do people believe Bale is an upgrade on Di Maria? Putting current situations aside I really need to find my quote from last when i said Di Maria to me is like Nani... Di Maria had a cracking 2nd half of a season last year. I do feel sorry for him here, he could be brilliant but the whole incident at his house has really shook him up please he is struggling with form.

He was off form before the break in attempt.

Agreed that the break-in didn't help things, but these things happen. Didn't Ronnie lose his dad but then managed to get over it? Things happen in life but the sheer pride in playing for United should have pulled him through. I remember, being an Indian cricket fan, Sachin Tendulkar lost his father in the midst of the 99 Cricket World Cup in England. Came back to India to attend his father's last rites and then went back to score a hundred in his next match. Point is, shit happens.

Do people believe Bale is an upgrade on Di Maria? Putting current situations aside Bale last season and ADM last season were both on fire. If we could have the version of Bale who murdered Maicon and scored a hat-trick against Inter, I'd say that's an upgrade over ADM. Bale seems a little more effective, while ADM has more pure talent, but Bale blazing past players like they're statues is like Giggs reborn. Bale certainly is more physically robust than ADM. Last year when ADM was regarded as top 5 in the world cannot be a fluke. I don't know where Bale was on that list, but ADM has more unbridled skill and talent. Long story short: we better buy him and find out!

Do people believe Bale is an upgrade on Di Maria? Putting current situations aside There is not doubting Di Maria's talent. But, if a comparison is to be made, Bale would be a natural fit to United than ADM. As Scholes said, he is perfect for Manchester United. ADM is trickier, has a higher work rate with higher number of assists, whereas Bale is stronger, more clinical finisher and proven himself in the premier league. Tbh I would have both. .........................Carrick/Blind/Pogba...................... ..Herrera........................................................ADM ....................................Mata................................ ........Rooney/Willo....................................Bale......

Goddamn we do not need Walcott. We already have Wilson who is far better and far younger than Walcott, and what we need to complement that line is another proven goal-scoring machine, not an injury-prone over-hyped Arsenal reject. I would rather have a Ramsey or The Ox instead of Walcott. Having said that, each one of them is injury prone.
