Yep. First 60 mins of that game we were great. And we haven't played well since

If we win the Newcastle and Arsenal games coming up then the atmosphere in this place could perk up a bit.

And we haven't played well since Utterly untrue. Agree. We played some decent stuff weekend just gone. Admittedly Sunderland are shite, but still.

I see some predictions for 6 points. But someone has voted for less than 5 points. Who is the brave outlier? Just to clarify, that means a maximum of 1 win. It was me. Individual games i predicted 4 points but as a run of games i predicted 6 so i split the difference. Im usually crap at predicting so we will probably end up with 18

1. Newcastle (A) 4-1 win (Falcao 2, Rooney 2) 2. Tottenham (H) 3-0 win (Rojo, Blind, Di Maria) 3. Liverpool (A) 3-1 win (Falcao 3) 4. Aston Villa (H) 6-0 win (Falcao 3, RVP 2, Rooney pen) 5. Man City (H) 2-2 draw (Shaw, De Gea [header from a corner in the 93rd min] ) 6. Chelsea (A) 1-0 win (Wilson) Sweet SIXTEEN De Gea scoring is more likely than Falcao getting back to back hatricks.

We have Newcastle, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea and Aston Villa in our next six games, from these games how many points should we be looking to accumulate?
I'm gonna say 6 from 6 against Newcastle and Villa but the other four are hard to call and will have a huge impact on our top four aspirations.
Realistically I'd take 7 from the possible 12, if we beat Spurs and Liverpool and draw with City at home I'd take a loss to Chelsea away.
So I'd "hope" for 13 points from 18 and with that I think we'd be guaranteed top four.
What do you think?

So, Permutations and combinations says 4 wins 2 losses or 3 wins 3 draws.

Yeah, think we'll beat Newcastle, Tottenham and Villa and draw against the three big teams - we've gotten decent results against the top sides and we're the type of team right now that may be able to completely stifle the opposition by simply sitting on the ball for ages - especially if we gain more confidence n the upcoming fixtures.
A wildcard to consider is one of our players actually hitting top form, it could change everything.
A fully firing Falcao/Di Maria/Rooney/Mata (or even a combination) could really get the ball rolling.
It's amazing to think we're fourth and none of our players have been remotely on form this season.

I'm confident we'll win at least one of the 'big' matches. When have you ever seen us lose every big game of a run in?
