Yes AWB was dreadful, out of position all the time and lumbering back late when needed agree Trippier would have been a great addition for us.

"I think Wout did a great job against Crystal Palace and Arsenal with his pressing, providing a target, with his movement. Bruno's goal against Crystal Palace, he was part of it because he makes the right movement to the front post. Rashford's goal against Arsenal, he was part of it because he made the space for Rashford by dragging the centre-half away. But strikers are there to score goals and when they don't score they are not happy. So it's important for him and his confidence that he scored that goal tonight."
Perhaps Erik's comments might help those of us trying to find something to like about Wout given that he's going to be our main striker for the rest of the season.
I think 1 goal every 3 games probably is about the best we can hope in terms of his strike rate for us. That isn't so hot but every little bit helps. But Bruno has scored 2 goals in 3 games since his arrival which is much more like the good old days and Rashford has continued his prolific 2023 rate of a goal almost every game. So maybe his presence will result in more team goals in the second half of the season which is what we desperately need.

On current form and output there is no better forward in football right now. What an absolute madman. Window still open. Cash in

Given how poor AWB was again & how indiffernt Dalot can be at times,it's a bloody shame we didn't get Trippier after the Euro's,he is in great form & exactly the kind of RB that would vastly improve us,he would slot straight into exactly how ETH wants to play in his system. trippier was an easy target he should have been off the plane from madrid and straight to united. made total sense.

10 goals in 10 games. Absolutely no reason he can't smash the 30 goal barrier aswell.

Pellestri looked good again, I'd certainly be keeping him. Elanga can go. Lindelof and Maguire both have no business at this club, it's a shame things have turned out the way they have for Tuanzebe, if he had kicked on etc you'd think one of those 2 would be off this month and the other in the summer.
I'd probably be resting Rashford, Eriksen and Bruno this weekend. Maybe Casemiro too. We should have enough to beat Reading and I can't see the manager accepting anything other than a win. Pellestri, Garnacho on the wings, Mainoo to start too would be nice.

Dry up. Saying he doesn't look like a typical football manager doesn't take away from his achievements. And it was never suggested that it did. Thatโs exactly what was happening though, so go take a walk.. Imagine giving a shit. None of this matters. What we say on here is of absolutely no consequence to anyone, least of all you. Well, actually, least of all Steve Cooper. We're all just idiots shouting into the void. You often seem to be awfully affected by the most random inconsequential stuff on here and have to stick your oar in. You might want to examine why you feel the need do that.

Lads, do we really need to bicker and snipe on every page? Seriously? I thought a lot of these issues occurred as the club was going nowhere but itโs now apparent this isnโt the case. Chris wrote a very reasonable post about future conduct and Iโd advise re-reading it as it will be enforced.
