This is how I feel. For example everyone is rightly heaping praise on Eddie Howe but I'm 100% certain he'd struggle if not more than Ten Hag at this club. Structurally this club is a complete mess. Whilst I don’t disagree about the structure, please enlighten me with what could have been done differently in the 18 months he’s had that would have allowed him to implement his own system and style and we wouldn’t be playing like a bunch of misfits each week? Signing better players especially in midfield and selling the dross would have made a big difference. I think we should have alot more cohesion as a team, ill give you that.

I think once again we are underestimating the effect the metaphorical black cloud is having on our club. Newcastle have been on the crest of a wave since their high-street tyrant fucked off. Spurs are looking good under the new manager, but Ten Hag was manager of the month twice last season. I honestly think you’d be seeing something different if the sale had gone through. There’s such a weight on the club. I don’t think the manager has covered himself in glory with the way he has spent the funds that are available to him. But he was one of the most sought after coaches in world football when we got him. Manager of the month for September and March last season. This club is an absolute state. Someone please suggest who they would hire if we sacked this manager? Honestly if we got rid of him in the summer and replaced him with the Celtic manager, you’d all be having a collective aneurysm. This. Injuries have hurt, Sancho is a wanker who has made things worse, the Antony situation was just the last thing we needed following on from Greenwood. De Gea leaving like he did left a bad taste in the mouth and you have to imagine impacted the dressing room at least slightly, I've no doubt Maguire still has a little band of happy clappers within the camp stirring things about losing the captaincy and trying to be sold. Add onto all that the fact that the players must have been keen to get new owners in, proper investment into the club (not just buying new players as so many fucking idiots keeping bringing up, but proper investment into making United the number 1 club on and off the field) only to see that drag on and on and on and for it look like nothing is actually going to change anytime soon. ETH doesn't help with everything; why does Antony get such preferential treatment when he's patently shite, what more does Rashford have to do before he's actually dropped, why was Mount such a determined target in the summer when he adds nothing, can't play in his preferred position and now sits on the bench because Antony will always play on the right and Rashford always on the left, so there is no place in the side for him. But he also gets a lot right, and as others have said, this talk of "Maguire and McTominay shouldn't start" is just nonsense, a top manager rewards players when they perform. They've both played well in recent weeks so they stay in the team, that's how it should be. He did the same thing with AWB, he was out for Dalot originally, but got his chance, performed, and kept his place, rightly. There's so much wrong with the club and it starts right at the top, everyone knows this. Sacking ETH is nothing more than a band aid on a bullet wound. Someone else comes in, maybe there's a knee jerk reaction and players pick up, then it all just drops off again and we slump back to where we are now.

On the behind the scenes stuff, even the facilities at the club are wank. Ronaldo came back in and he’s using the same rowing machine he was using twenty years ago. We’re lightyears behind proper clubs in terms of what’s even available. There’s just so much wrong at the club, from top to bottom. It’s hard to perform in that atmosphere. Bring someone else in, they might do alright to start with and then it’ll go to shit again because it’s built on bloody sand.

Well, sack him! What do you know, ETH is shite. SACK HIM! We're like that one friend we've all got that is endlessly single, every relationship ends up breaking down. There comes a point you need to stop blaming everyone else and look inward. it's been said a thousand times, but until the Glazers fuck off or die, or preferably both, nothing will ever change.

Agree with everything except the Mount bit , i think he is an excellent player. Yes like many said maybe was not a super priority right now , but he is a very good player.

We all know about the Glazer Mill Stone which is all the more reason to not allow Murtough & ETH to squander any more of the limited transfer funds we have.To me that indicates ETH may not the right man for the job because if he can’t be trusted to identify players plus his team selections and in game management is average at best then we have another problem. so that may need addressing at some point.

We signed Casemiro last year, and then Mount and Amrabat this year who were both supposedly EtH's choices so I'm not really sure how the structure can be blamed for that. Still, let's hope something miraculous happens soon enough and we start to see some improvements.

I don’t completely agree. What is the job of the DOF? ETH has been brought into a massive mess and is expected to babysit, coach, manage, identify players to come in etc. We have someone handsomely paid and completely under qualified to identify players that fit into the clubs playing philosophy, it’s crucial because that same person should also be able to identify managerial fits therefore transitions are seamless. In game management, I completely agree, should be far better a lot better.

Just to add for example Pep and Klopp have fantastic teams identifying players to fit the club. Ange had all his targets long identified and brought in. ETH needs someone competent doing this thus firmly allowing him to coach and get the best of what he is given, if he fails at that then he gets sacked

No point in having a new DOF if the manager still influences transfers which is what ETH signed up to for. We need a DOF with a clear plan of how we play & what players need to be signed to give the manager & coaching staff the best chance within the system.

Not trying to be funny but we all are good at identifying issues, let’s also throw in some solutions. ETH signed up to have a say, a strong say and I don’t have an issue with that. If he is presented with the right options then whichever one he picks should be fine
