What game do you prefer? It's a much debated topic worldwide. FIFA by EA Sports or PES by Konami? I always buy both because my dad prefers Pro Evo and I prefer FIFA. I enjoy paying both though but I opt for FIFA because of the originality, graphics and just recently they have caught up with PES in gameplay. FIFA also has the better tournaments and extras, I recently purchasd FIFA World Cup 2006 and it is a great game. What do you think? P.S. I dislike PES that extra bit more because of the name for Manchester United which is Man Red FUCKIN HATE IT! #unitedbanner#

Pro Evolution series all the way, although both games are relatively easy on full stars, FIFA is way easier, Pro Evolution delivers on realism as FIFA delivers on graphics. Names and sponsors aren’t an issue, as it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes of your time to get the updates. I’ve just come off Pro Evolution online, PC version, I played some German and he disconnected on 34 minutes, poor sportsmanship, ah well, still a win for me.

I'm a FIFA guy, although in all fairness the last time I played Pro Evo it was still called ISS.

I've played FIFA as long as I can remember and was reluctant to try PES but after I did I couldn't help but be taken by the better game play. FIFA definately is superior when it comes to soundtrack and rights to use existing teams but in terms of game play PES is more fluid and fun to actualize plays. The edit option is great and I enjoy creating my own team and logos, including creating the logo for United. If you like a "pick up and play" footie game then FIFA's a good choice but for better gameplay (albeit not easy to learn in one shot) and editing abilities go with PES for sure.

i chose PES cos i like the Transfer Market (Negotiations) and it has many other extras, but i have to ask why they did different names such as Man Red and North London

BOO! Because they couldn't get the licenses to have real names. Boo to PES? Come on, it's a great game. I enjoy FIFA 06 but don't think they're there yet with gameplay though it's a great improvement to 05. Also I think most players look like the real thing in PES9 than in FIFA06. If they were to get the licensing for all of the clubs and expand to include other leagues; I'd love to have the Brazilian and Argentinian leagues. As far as the alternate names for the unlicensed teams, it takes less than a minute to change the name...

How does FIFA have any votes at all? About an hour worth of editing of PES will make it all the real teams, players and stadiums anyone who is gonna shout it down cos of that is just lazy!
PES (or winning 11 as it is for our eastern friends) is a great game, better game play, better AI better graphics, smoother gameplay FIFA wouldn't even begin to compete if it didn't have the players.

FINALLY THE VOICE OF REASON!! #clap# Not to mention it doesn't suffer from the horrid frame rate issues that FIFA does. Like I said, I've enjoyed FIFA and most of my video game footie action came courtesy of EA but PES just has better game play.

I just prefer FIFA cause I have been playing it for years but I do have to admit its not been improving much over the years. PES has the gameplay but it still has quite some way to go before it can match FIFA in my opinion.
