Good read Adam. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when the players took the pitch...would we start off conservatively and test Chelsea's resolve or would we take the game to them and force the first goal? I was so glad to see that we started on the right foot and kept stripping the ball from them and intercepting passes, and for a while made them look like a second rate team. Had we continued that in the second half I'm sure we would have scored another one, but despite Chelsea's renewed attack with Essien crossing balls in we still looked dangerous on the break. We didn't win but I'm so glad it wasn't a repeat of the last time we faced them.

good post Adam..however, i think that to win the league, we'll not only have to bring in reinforcements but also improve our attack...we've been missing too many opportunities too many times!...we have to start cashing out on them! or else we'll have another Celtic happening on our hands.

This is a big weekend coming up, with Terry returning for Chelsea and their hopes that he will help them return to form and our tough away game at spurs there's a lot to play for, I just hope we come out of the weekend no worse off than we are now otherwise psychologically it could be a big blow, thinking about I'm just happy we're in the position to have squeaky bums at this stage of the season as I thought it was a bit beyond us this year but now we're here I'm desperate for us not to throw it away.

I'm desperate for us not to throw it away. Same sentiments mate. The coming fixtures can make or break our lead and Chutski will be looking to take us down. We have to take each game head on and move one game at a time. I am eagerly, though with alot of of anticipation, looking forward to the weekend. Good read btw Adam, keep them coming!

Good read Adam, and the key word of what's needed to win the Prem is consistency which is what United have managed to produce thus far. We've seen that when we sit back and try to defend leads against top sides we become very vulnerable so these lessons need to be learned and not repeated.
I was commenting to my friend last night that I'm pretty confident that we're witnessing a resurgance of Rooney's form based on the last two matches. If this is indeed the case then it couldn't have come at a better time because it's in the last stretch that we need as many players contributing to the cause.
