video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-8405798699399474112&q=Ruud+van+NistelrooyThis man is a legend, I'm really going to miss seeing him at OT tormenting defences and scoring goals. The little piece on the video about the two penalties against Arsenal made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!.. It will be a sad day when he finally leaves but Manchester United and the legend that is, Ruud van Nistelrooy must move on. Good luck Van the man!...

I wasn't too bothered to see him go, but after watching that clip, I don't want him to leave. That penalty against Arsenal, the one when it hit the bar and Keown et al attacked him, made me angry again. I really felt for him that day. Had I been a United player, I would have took Keown's head off, the scum bag.

I feel angry about it still, if I ever saw Keown I'd attack the bastard!

That wa some emotional! I genuinely screamed "Come on United" at the Screen when he put away the second penalty against Arsenal. What I legend, I love this guy. I dunno, I guess the times right for him to leave, but I'll never forget the memories.

Its Good Riddance as far as I'm concerned. I'm not saying that Ruud is a bad player but I say that Man U started losing the grip as the big boys when Fergie signed him. From 1991 - 2001 we dominated the English game with forward players that played for each other, it wasn't unusual for the tally at the end of the season read Cole 22 goals, Yorke 18, Ole 16, Scholes 15. etc etc. Since Rudd signed our game has changed immensely, we no longer have the whole chipping in with goals, when was the last time you saw us with 85+ goals at the end of a season. We are now long ball United just to get him a chance on goal, which more often than not, despite his great tally, he balloons or dives for a penalty. When Rudd was out of the team we played the type of football that won us Championships so easily. I hope we dont sign another Ian Rush type poacher, it aint our game. Smith & Rooney will terrorise any defence. However, Good Luck Ruud, please go to Chelsea and destroy their free flowing football like you did ours.

Shame to see him go, will always be a legend but I agree with the above, it's time to move on and get back to our old ways. Where ever Ruud goes he will become a fans favourite, so good luck whether that happens to be Madrid or Munich.

That's the biggest pile of shit I've heard in my life. GOOD RIDDANCE? This is Van Nistelrooy you're talking about mate. 150 goals in 200 starts. Last season: Ruud - 26 goals, Roo - 20 goals and Saha - 17 goals. If that's not chipping in then I don't know what is!

He hardly dives as often as a certain player we still have on our team. And at least he delivered the end product, unlike the other player who won't be mentioned. Maybe he will learn to cross the ball properly one day and stop doing random step overs. And if people still didn't get it, I meant Ronaldo! Would much rather see him leave than van Nistelrooy. He may not be the most elegant player, but he scores goals, and in the end of the day, that's what counts.

Does this thread have anything to do with slagging off Ronaldo? It's about Ruud, and his services to United. Whether you'll miss him or not. Get the drift of it now?
This thread is not a slag off Ronaldo vehicle for you or anybody else.

He might as well be gone, no way he's staying.
