We do need a better atmosphere, but there are too many prawn sandwich munchers whos mouths are too full to sing. These videos are crazy and id love an atmosphere like that at O.T. Not enough crazy people in Manchester though. These fans all seem to be nutcases, but maybe thats a good thing.

these vids are crazy...the fenerbahce lot are mental!! its amazing...reckon it'll be quite dangerous to have the whole stadium boucing at the same time tho...there's some physics behind it but i cant rmb shit from high school now...
the panathanaikos one was really good i think...i like the whole back and forth chant thing they had going on...brings back some really good memories for me..
would love to witness this at OT...but cant see it happening to be honest...because of the all seating rule...and we just have a lot of non-hardcore fans in there...
btw, this is what the panathanaikos lot were chanting...

For the physics part: If the vibrations reach the resonance frequency of the cement blocks, then the will crack taking down the stadium...and if they are doing this constantly in every game then the blocks will weaken making the structure unstable.  The PAO chant is very intense. One of my brothers is from Greece and he's got plenty of stories about Panathinaikos and their antics. Fantastic bunch of lads!! |

So what your saying is, bring back the terraces?
Won't happen for a long time, besides, the German's are able to control their terraces as much as is required, that did look a bit dodgy for a while with that crack though!
