Totti - Big game/tournament bottler AND A PROPER CRETIN Gilardinho - How many goals has scored in CL? None EVER Toni - One of my World Cup Golden boot award favourites You can't rule out the HOSTS, shit group and always qualify for the latter stages, great players in Ballack, Klose and Schwarsteiner (spelling) but defence looks a little suspect One of the European clubs will win this World Cup and I'll put good money on that

England. Purely because if Germany win their group and Argentina theirs we should be able to completely ease to the quarter finals against mediocre teams and then face the Dutch. This will allow Rooney and Owen to get match fit by the quarter finals and regain some form.
It gives us time to settle into the world cup against lesser opposition before facing the big boys which is great preperation, nobody else has this luxury..

Paraguay and Sweden will be no walk over although I expect us to progress from the group with 7 points, hopefully 9

I say England, because I’m patriotic. But due to squad selection, poor managerial decisions and dire past tournaments, I won’t put any money on it. I just want to see a goals bonanza!

Fifa fucked the rankings a tad me thinks. fair point - but the Czechs have a very good side with a favourable route to the final.
