What a fuckin' goal!
GOAL: Esteban Cambiasso - 31mins The passing of Argentina split apart the Serbs, when it seemed maybe Serbia could grab an equalizer. Quick silky passing brought the ball to Crespo on the edge of the area who cheekily back heeled it to Cambiasso who proceeded to blast Argentina into a 2-0 lead.
26 passes for the goal...remember the great Paul Scholes goal at Old Trafford when we passed the opposition side to death and Scholes lobbed the 'keeper...can anyone remember how many passes there were?...
SCORE: Argentina 2-0 Serbia

"It was a masterclass in quality, balance, passing, control and finishing. If I see a better goal in the World Cup I'm going home. It was 24 passes of total control. They tore them to shreds." Alan Hansen, pundit for Match of the Day

I was about to say who reckons the Serbs will have less than 11 men on the field before the end. Completely out classed and they know it.

Argentina are singing a song that sounded like 'Take Me Home United Road!', do you think they are repaying the favour for the Stretford End chanting 'ARGENTINA! ARGENTINA!'...

Argentina: the best side so far!
FULL TIME: Argentina sounded out a warning to the World here. Although they played an absolute wank side, they look very dangerous. Being able to bring Tevez & Messi off the bench is an absolute luxury for any side to have. There defence is solid and if Argentina and England finish top of their groups they will avoid each other 'til the final....if they both get there, therefore England MUST not lose vs. Sweden on Tuesday.
MAN OF THE MATCH: GABRIEL HEINZÉ (ARG) The attacking force was immense and it was too hard to choose, so I opted for a defender and it is out of Sorin and Heinzé, Heinzé gets it for me he was cool, calm & composed for the game. Plus, he's a RED!
MOAN OF THE MATCH: S&M....they never put up a fight!
SCORE: Argentina 6-0 S&M
