Just back from seeing the final Hobbit film. Peter Jackson likes his epic battles, doesn't he? Superb.

Going to see that on Saturday, heard quite negative things about it but it's my kind of movie so guessing I'll like it regardless. Fox had the first two on on Sat and Sun nights so re-watched them to get myself in the mood for the third.

It is a great film.
Seems to me that there are too many people that forget that, given the freekin cost of tickets and butter popcorn, that a movie is supposed to entertain hell out of the people fronting up the $$
There is no doubt that this is very true to the story (and IMO The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings is the greatest thing ever written) and that it is seriously entertaining.

Dracula Untold: Don't waste your time, good grief

Have not been too a cinema in years. Will have to start going again now I am retired. I miss the popcorn and ice-cream lol. I remember me and the wife taking our son & daughter too see ET when it was first released. Inside it was deadly quiet then when ET said "ET go home....home" A load of kids just burst out crying and my daughter was one of them. Even outside when leaving the cinema our daughter was still crying with a lot of others. Never forget that.

The Drop - Crime drama with James Gandolfini & Tom Hardy, good watch. I really enjoyed it too. The OH thought it was meh. Tom Hardy is quickly turning into one of my favourite actors. Such a shame we lost Mr Gandolfini though, I always thought there might be a Sopranos spin off maybe.

Good film - Tom Hardy is a top actor (watch Locke) and it was a bit sad to see JG in his last film role

Watching the Hitman (2007), Timothy Olyphant. Not a bad film. Seen it a few times. Did not go down well with the critics but it was a financial success.

Watching/listening to "Chowder" with the granddaughter, ridiculous cartoon, but I have to admit there have been several of them which have had us both in stitches till tears ran down my cheeks.

Done that with the grandson's. Watching Finding Nemo. The sea-gull bit, "Mine....mine...." I laughed my bloody socks off.
