Another good read so congrats to all involved. Well done Soapy on member of the month. Very well deserved mate. Don't really see why Ben was reviewing Fifa 07 when 08 has just come out   (typing error, I know) Intresting insight in the like of Mrs. R. Looks like you're an ambitious person. Just don't let that fella of yours bring you down  I was a bit surprised at the Rio vote by Sil, but before Rooney and Tevez started to shine he was outstanding at the back and he is looking great with every game he plays this season. Once again, well done to all. |

Very nice edition everyone, well done! #clap# Congrats Soapy on being member of the month, well deserved abd I always enjoy reading your posts so keep them coming! I wish I had a PS3 then I would challenge you to some FIFA08. Good interview Jen, I had a friend in high school who was the biggest Labrynth fan I've ever met...guess there are more of you out there than I thought. Inetersting pick for match of the month Sil, I thought it would have been one of our league matches but I see your point about the Kyiv match. I thought we would draw 1-1 there as it's a tough place to play, and while Kyiv's record in the CL has been pretty dismal they still managed to get two past us so if not for our good scoring form it might have been a closer match. we've gotten off to a great start in the CL so I hope it continues after the group stage. Rio eh? No doubt he's a great defender to have and we're better having him than not, but you have to wonder if it's our attacking players who should get the praise at this stage since they've really been on a tear. We can't forget about our defenders either because we haven't conceded many goals, and if I'm not mistaken we have the fewest goals against thus far. I still think that offensively Rooney's resurgance would get my vote because he looks confident again and his chemistry with Tevez is very impressive. I'm really hoping that Rio will shine on Sunday as we need our defenders to be at their best against an Arsenal side that can kick the ball about with a wee bit of skill. I must say that it's been a bit sad being out of the gaming world, I spend what little time I have to enjoy my PS2 playing the last Pro Evo. I might pick up FIFA08 however as it's been quite a while since I bought a FIFA game (2005 I think) and I keep hearing good things about 08. Thanks to Scott for putting the paper together! |

Well, most of my goals in the game have come from fantasic crosses by Giggs or Nani, does that mean I'm better than you now?  Just kidding, though I really wish you'd get a 360 so I could play you, the we could really see who's better. I agree with Rio getting player of the month, he goes over looked far too often and is a fantastic player, absolutely brilliant in my opinion and with out Nev we'd be lost without him IMO. |

Wow, i made member of the month I seriously never expected that due to the fact that i don't post on the regular basis others do but it is an honour indeed, thank you very much. I'm in total agreement with Sil on match of the month as well, Kiev could well have been a scrappy performance but instead turned out to be a feast of attacking football. I'm less sure about the Player of the month but i'm sure as it was written well in advance that may have changed Stonecarvers opinion. That's not to say Rio hasn't been magnificent, just that i would have given it to Tevez simply because he has been sensational this month. I am seriously considering FIFA 08, which is a major thing for a PES fanatic, and look forward to challenging you all online in the future. Once again, a great read as always. Thanks to Scott again for doing such a sterling job in putting it all together. |
