Had the potential to be a really great film. Set in the future, the World is infertile, and it starts with the youngest person in the world, some 18 year old, getting murdered. I wont spoil the plot for anyone who fancies watching it, but it really disappointed me. Felt they could have done so much more with it because the idea of it is very good.

I was a bit dissapointed, It's such a good story but the film just didn't go anywhere. Never really cared about any of the characters and what's his face Clive Owen has two expressions his face can pull angry and angrier. Such a wooden actor. The only films he's good in is the inside man, and that's because he's wearing a mask.

They could've gone into much more detail as to how it actually got like it was in the film. Whether they're looking at a sequel or not with an ending like that i don't know, but it could've been a far better ending.
Soo, good, but could've been far better.

I agree that it had the potential to be a very good film but didn't even come close for me. They neglected the history of it too much and left too much open for interpretation and guessing from the audience. I thought the sets and visuals were great but the story was pretty flimsy and that ruined it.

Actually I disagree...I liked that not much was expanded on, made it feel all the more real. Nothing worse than a film where you are spoon fed everything thats going on and even every single joe public knows whats going on and why it happened. Thats why the original Night of the Living dead was so good...no-one knew what was happening this was just the story of a man passing through history.
Felt it was a good film, personally though Clive Owen played the disenfranchised fish out of water who'd lost hope in everything well, Michael Caine was, as he has been in a lot of recent films I've seen him in excellent and played to a tee.

Such a bad film. So many plot flaws in it.

When he stole the car. Like you wouldn't hear doors opening and closing when you're 10 yards away. The guys on the bike are able to plant a bullet right through that womans head at around 50mph, yet when it comes to shooting a car they barely hit it. BOLLOCKS!

The average film is littered with these, I thought rather you were refering to the speed with which the fish located michael caines house hidden off the road behind some inconspicious bushes having not followed them directly.
Every film has these kinds of things, it's one of the things that makes hollywood great, when fighting a room full of armed people, feel free to take your time fighting them one at a time while the rest dance around menacingly kinda thing.

There's your example too, these things bug me though. That's why I've given up on films more or less.
