Rather inconsistant isn't it. I beat all the teams in pre season, including a win at Inter Milan, then in the league I lost 4-0 at Reading, got beat at home by Chelsea and beat West Ham at home. Couldn't believe I got beat by that score. Thats the one fault with it. Its unrealistic. I also had like 23 shots on goal and they had about 7. Just got Scholes, Giggs and Carrick back which will help. i think its you and not the game. yes i agree at times it can be unrealistic when you win like 6-2 or something. but hey that happens in real life as well. its still a game it cant be perfect. and i had a 16 or 17 matches unbeaten run in the championship with ipswich it came to a end after 5 straight draws which 3 of them were 2-2. and i lost 1-0 to colchester away now. i had a brilliant run and was top of the table, now im 2nd and it can go either way. i am on the brink of signing TK  |

Im getting used to it now. Since my last post I am on an unbeaten run and only lost once, to Spurs, 2-1 after Rooney got sent off (I got fined for complaining about referees). The key is to take your time during games. Instead of rushing into it, you need to examine how the other team play. On earlier versions you could let it play while you did your own thing but you can't do that anymore. I love how you can now change tactics and subs while the game is playing. Its more realistic and saves on loading times. I haven't got beat for 7 games in the league and im top of the table (played 1 game more) and im going well in Europe. Im gonna have to say sorry to my girlfriend a few times cos im now HOOKED!!

Handsfree kits, what would you do without em? ;D I'm on a unbeaten run of 17 games but have drawn a few, it's a bit unrealistic as in Liverpool are like 17th, Chelsea 10th, Arsenal 6th and Everton are my nearest rivals. Rafa Benitez got sacked!  Liking the game though, they've made minor changes which improve it a lot! |

Ahhhh, I saved my last game with United got to about January and my PC crashed when I went to load it again it's corrupted the file  Started again but decided to go with Northern Ireland, the international management is as good fun but a bit slow though. Qualified for the European Championships, rided my luck beating 10 men Denmark, Sweden with a late penalty, rolling over Latvia and Leichstenstein sealing my qualification but a defeat against Spain in my last game meant I missed out on top spot, when a draw would've done it! |

In my game, Louis Saha hates Rooney and Tevez. Hargreaves also hates Rooney. Whats going on!!
Having a bad run at the mo. Im 4th in the league, 9 points behind top spot. Knocked out the Champs League by Valencia on away goals. Buggers.

I'm waiting for a few months. You always get bugs and that that need to be addressed wit updated, and you all know that saved games don't get affected by updates.
Like in 07, history stuff got deleted, Rooney was banned from international duty forever 9not a bad thing!) and other glitches that annoyed me.
I'm United in 07 and haven't bought anyone, but just bringing up youth players (you always get a few gems, as your youth academy is maxed out). Pique, Rooney, Ronaldo, Rossi, Evans, Zieler, and loads of youth talent that are regens, so no point naming them. Winning loads.

Just brought Rossi back to United, Scores for fun. Only paid 7.5million after Villareal gave him a contract with a minimum release clause of 7.5million. Was 1-1 against Derby till 90 mins. Rossi scored twice. I won 3-1. I recommend him.

I recommend him. well duh. thats a must. i am in the 6th round FA cup against spurs. i beat west ham 4-3 away, first at home i got 1-1. it was a 85th minute winner from ipswich! i beat everton 4-1 in the 4th round brilliant game. |

After all that , I drew 2 of my first 3 games!!!!

I've been playing the game quite a bit and I have to say itr's not as good as it should be. They have made one or two new little features but they only gloss over some major glitches.
