I don't know whether it's because there's British interest in it but this has been the most entertaining women's event I've seen in a grand slam for years. Most of the matches have been excellent.
It's because there's no Serena, for me anyway.
Not knocking her at all, but she's just on such a different level to every other female player the slams are boring, it's a procession just waiting for her to win at the end. Without her there's genuinely about a dozen different players all with real chances of winning at the beginning.

Murray really struggling now. In fairness to him he's looked to be carrying an injury all tournament. Finally catching up with him now.

Has to be an injury. Otherwise its being thrown.
Didn't even bother to try and return on the last Querrey serve.
Game over now anyway

Game over now anyway His hip was fucked Didn't watch it all but looked like he was struggling with one. Shame really as he's played some tidy tennis leasing up to this. Back to being Scottish for another year it is.

Federer is fucking immense. Just incredible, no words. Djokovic out injured. Shame, as it would've been one hell of a semi-final.

He needs to be a case study in sports science textbooks for probably the best biomechanics in sports history. His style of play places least stress on his body , is the most efficient on the court , and is utterly bewitching to watch . The man is an icon.

Fair play to the bloke. Hasn't dropped a single set in the tournament. Not something you see done often.

Who wins this then? Seems like a daft question but from my memory, Cilic often players well against Federer. I reckon Federer wins it in 5.
