oh, arse. i dont really care for either of them, but i think nadal has been the better player on the day. federer has scraped through, whilst nadal has shown more ability...
wonder how different this final set would have been if nadal hadnt screwed up his knee.

takes away from it that he could only look like the better player once nadal was injured. nice to win on the break though.
not afraid of showing his emotions is he? not a pretty site when he cries lol.

He's a fucking class player that Federer. I told my mum to bet the house on him winning and she thought I was nuts. Great final though. Nadal did extrememly well. Could win it next year if he continues to improve.

yehh what a match it was!! amazing stuff! fed was fortunate today, because i thought rafa was the better player! But the great man showed more fire and played the big points well! 5 in a row! What a legend!

epic final. best match of the tournament. i thought nadal might have nicked it but then his knee started screwing up. nevermind, there's still next year. fed knew he was close to losing this one, you could see the relief.

Im glad Federer won to take the record, but it would have been good to see Nadal win. He is gonna be awesome in a few years.
Possibly the shittest Wimbeldon for a while, but it was a good final.

Im glad Federer won to take the record, but it would have been good to see Nadal win. He is gonna be awesome in a few years. Possibly the shittest Wimbeldon for a while, but it was a good final. Equal the record - he and Borg won 5 in a row each now - one more to take the record...... Sampras won 7 in 8 years - he missed one through injury so I think he woulda won a straight 8 - but he didn't. Fed needs one more next year to be the best SW19 has ever seen !!! Go Fed, Go !!!! |
