England v Wales, 16:30 Ireland v Italy, 14:00
Scotland v France, 15:00
I'm looking forward to the tournament. Some surprises in the england selection but I really want to see how ireland and wales recover from awful world cups. It should be interesting.

I don't think We Irish have much to look forward to Johnboy to be brutally honest. Eddie has opted for a safety-first approach with his team selection and has left out the few players we have in form (aside from the Munster lads) in Heaslip, Jackman and Tommy Bowe. Obviously he's more concerned about keeping his job rather than trying to do anything radical. France narrowly lose to England in the semi's and there are only 6 players left from that side as they regarded it as a failure. I know we don't have as large a pool of players as the French but changes had to be made after that disastrous World Cup. I really think We've gone as far as We can with O'Sullivan. BTW, how is he view up in the North?

I am dissappointed about the flannery thing but ogara is in good form and he has alot to prove after the world cup, I agree about our pool strength but it doesn't help when you bring foreigners into irish rugby because it will restrict opportunities for young lads look at ulster rugby for an example. I have a feeling though if the lads can build a bit of momentum things might happen, we still have good players.

Reddan and O'Gara is a good half back combo, the pack is strong but none of the backs are playing well apart from Murphy. You never know I suppose but the fixtures are tougher this season, France and England away. I have money on France to win it, Clerc to be top try scorer.

Wales 26 - 19 England Wales claimed their first win at Twickenham for 20 years with a superb second-half comeback to defeat England I don't really think wales done anything unreal in the second half, england completely collapsed and made some of the worst errors in a competitive match of rugby I have ever seen. Wilkinson's kicking was awful, fair play to wales they got stuck in second half but england should of put them away first half when they were cruising. Again I'm dissappointed with ireland.

I was at the Ireland game and apart from the first 20 minutes we were awful. Really awful. We're low on confidence, low on inspiration and have no real leaders on the pitch now that O'Connell is injured. Reddan and O'Gara and a few of the forwards showed up, no one else. We win an attacking scrum in the first 10 minutes and what do we do? A fucking crossfield kick that ends up in the stand. We're going nowhere.

why don't they cover the acess grass at croke park for the game. I would say its hard to judge any kicking on croke park.
