DAMN! how the hell did I win?! The first game this season I've forgot to do my tactics, still had my team selection from weekend too when I left out a couple of regulars so not the best start lol, can't believe I had another dodgy offside decision deny me a goal though, that's just plain bad luck, and I suffered a few injuries too so not the best game for me ever but hope you go on to win it now so I can say I went out to the winners ;D Now I've gotta pick the team up for the game against Mini at weekend, need a result in that one. lol! Yeah dude...i dont know how I won...I shud've been out. My team's suddenly lost its form...and am out of money to make it come back in form. Shitter nuts I say!!

"TEN MEN! We've only got TEN MEN!"
Woooooo woooooooo
"2-1 to the Mighty Mancs, 2-1 to the Might Mancs..."
Roque Costa is a legend! If you read the pre-match comments from him *ahem* and I quote:
"We might not have the best eleven individual players, but we have a great bunch of lads playing for this team, and every single one of them wants to do the club proud, for the fans and for the gaffer. On paper, we should be no match for Redarmy, but football isn't played on paper, and I fancy our chances. We've got a lot of heart, and after a disappointing season, we've really started to turn things around." The captain even found time to take a sly dig at the opposition. "We've won our last five games on the trot, which is more than can be said for Redarmy."
Assisted one, scored the other, and got sent off for the cause, get in ;D But I guess now he's suspended for the final?
"Wemberleeeeeee, Wemberleeeeeee, we're the famous Mighty Mancs and we're going to Wemberleeeeee"

Against all odds, the Mighty Mancs booked their place in the Busby Babes Cup Final today, after a 2-1 win over Redarmy United.
The mood for the game was set in the first minute when Redarmy striker Giueseppe Rossi was booked. By the time the first goal was scored on 22 minutes, two more players had been booked. It was Stuart Lowe who scored for United, and it appeared as though the game was going to be a walkover.
Mighty Mancs captain, Roque Costa, received what would become a costly booking a few moments later, making a last ditch tackle just outside the area on Rossi. A second goal so early on would have left the Mancs doomed.
The battle ensued and Redarmy United found their fourth player booked just after the half hour mark. Mighty Manc's manager, Scott the Red, was left fuming on the sidelines, feeling the referee was letting far too many poor challenges go unpunished, or not punished severely enough. When Redarmy captain, Simon Tennevall, went in on Roque Costa with studs showing, Scott was seen kicking a water bottle in the crowd when the referee waved on the advantage.
Costa dug in just before half time scoring a fantastic goal on 40 minutes. Horacio Vallano, who will miss the final due to a yellow card he picked up, delivered a perfect cross which Costa met with a diving header. The ball fired past a dumbfounded goalkeeper.
It is unknown what Scott the Red said to the players at half time, but it certainly did the trick. His team came out fired up, winning every 50-50 challenge, and taking chances whenever they came their way. It seemed inevitable that the Mancs would take the lead, which they did in the 69th minute. Costa delivered his corner kick to the edge of the box for Gustavo Battaglia to volley home. The Argentinian striker now has scored an incredible sixteen goals in fifteen games this season.
The Mancs had to endure a tense last few minutes, when their captain and driving force, Costa, was sent off in the 87th minute. Replays show no contact was made, but the referee punished Costa with a straight red for what he deemed to be a strike to the face of Redarmy captain Simon Tennevall. Tennevall fell to the ground rather dramatically, and Costa had to be dragged away from the player before being sent off down the tunnel.
Four minutes of injury time were played, and the Mighty Mancs were relieved to hear the final whistle after United bombarded their goal, trying to make the most of their one man advantage. The game ended 2-1 though, and the Mighty Mancs will face Minichester United in the final.
Xpert XI News has an exclusive with Roque Costa, who will now miss the final. The player has given so much to his side in this Cup, and it is a bitter disappointment for the team that he won't play against Minichester. A slightly reserved Costa spoke about his feelings post-match. "Of course it's disappointing to miss the final," he said, "but the most important thing is that the team got there. We've been written off all season, and everyone has been waiting for us to fail, but here we are, in the final, after proving everyone wrong. It's a great feeling." When asked for his version of events leading up to the red card, the forward gave an honest account. "I went to hit him, I admit that, and I was wrong. Tennevall had been winding me up all game, and I took the bait. By the time the red mist had cleared, and I pulled my hand back, it was too late. He's a clever player. He knew the ref would think I hit him, so he made the most of it. I hope the league takes a look at that though." Costa then gave his opinion on the final. "It's going to be tough for the lads, of course it is, but like I said to them in the dressing room afterwards, they've just got to go out and enjoy themselves. It will be a big day for the club, the players, and the fans. I'm gutted I won't get to play, but I will be in the stands, with the fans, cheering the lads on."
Xpert XI News managed to get a quick word from the Mancs boss, Scott the Red. "I'm delighted, of course. Going in on level terms was vitally important to us, and it certainly gave us the belief that we could go on to win it. I think the referee let Redarmy get away with too much, and I think Rocky was desperately unfortunate to get sent off. We're also gutted to be without Vellano for the final, who has contributed significantly to our cup run. It puts a bit of a sour note on what has been a wonderful day for the lads. But we're not a one man team, and with the combination of talent, experience, hunger and youth we have, you can never write us off. We want this and we're going to give everything in our power to get it. But we've got nothing to prove, the lads have done that already, and I'm looking forward to what will be a good day for the club."
