Talking about the Pools, as DJB said it's a good way to make some money.
Anyone wanna share what they think the minimum bet should be to be included in the pools? And then we can get that going too?

Dom, have they all been older players? I've been wondering about that so I've signed some younger players just in case my oldest players hang up their boots. oldish but not any older than other players, one was 33, and then the one last season was only 30 so not exactly OAPs, justs seems wierd that no other teams have had them retire that's all  I've brought in loads of young players since that guy retired in the first season as he was one I'd just bought and didn't want to waste money on older players if they were just gonna retire on me. might have to spend on a few older players though as they're generally cheaper with higher stats and my team looks a bit lightweight atm, either that or just stick with my youngsters all season and save up for next year ...decisions, decisions =P |

I was a bit confused at my development this season too.
Mel Bartlett, 22 year old with 6 skill rating, scored a few goals, a lot of assists, started almost every game and he went down to a 5 skill rating.
Confused.

Raise it to 150,000 or 200,000. Yeah at least 200k would be best imo since there won't be too many people playing it . |

Great start to the season ;D Go down to 10 men after half an hour. Leading 3-2 until the 88th winner when they go the equaliser, then scored the winner in injury time. Get in ;D That will end when i hammer you today and effectively knock you out of the cup  Told ya Scott! 4-1! 4-1! 4-! ;D |

Whilst workmen were digging a massive hole for a pool with jacuzzi in Gustavo Battaglia's back garden, a strongbox containing personal letters allegedly written by William Shakespeare was found. After bringing it to the curator of the national museum, who deemed the find of significant historical value, Gustavo Battaglia donates the collection to the museum. The museum then donates 877 500 econ to the club.

Well that's it, I'm fucked, already lost 2 home games this season, my teams gone to shit, conceded 2 in 2 minutes today (88th and 89th too) to throw away the 3 points, this game needs a discipline system 'cos my team needs to be taught a lesson.

I'm not off to the best of starts but can't complain too much really because it's a new league with tougher opposition and I have new players that need to adjust. At least I drew with Maniacal Tacklers because for a while I thought we were going to lose that one.
