This will be a tough game at their place; 'boro were very unlucky against the chavs last week - hitting the post/bar 3 times! They have a pretty good attack with Downing/Ali/Alves/ and Tunci. These guys can cause any defence a problem or two. Therefore, we will certainly need to score at least a couple of goals.
I'll go for a 2-1 win with the following formation
VDS
Brown Pique Rio Silvestre
Scholes Hargreaves Carrick
Park Rooney Tevez

Middlesborough have a strong defence now, Wheater and Huth are both very good young defenders doubt we'll score 4, maybe a 1 or 2 - 0 Tevez scoring (both if we score 2)

Riverside hasn't been a happy hunting ground for us ,I would be happy with a win ,however ugly it may be.

I'll take a flukey 1-0, i loathe this fixture and just hope 3 points is in the bag at the end of the day. Hopefully the other 2 can drop points and take some of the pressure off as well.

Tricky game this is but we have the quality to beat this lot. I think rooney will continue his little run of goals and ronaldo is due a goal because he doesnt have many this season. So 2-0 to united. come on united!!

I guess it will be a 3-0 win and Arsenal and Chelsea both draw!

watched boro recently? watched against arsenal ar riverside? they beat arsenal and were unlucky against chelsea this week so it will never be an easy game, players could make it easy, but at this moment i think would be tricky game, specially if chelsea beat city and close the gap to 2 points

Here's United's PROBABLE team for the game away to Boro, according to the English media this morning:
1 Van Der Sar, 6 Brown, 5 Ferdinand, 22 O'Shea, 3 Evra, 13 Park, 16 Carrick, 4 Hargreaves, 11 Giggs, 7 Ronaldo, 10 Rooney.
Gary Neville returns to the squad, Mikael Silvestre is fit and is likely to be on the bench. Vidic out for two to three weeks.

Van Der Sar
Brown - Rio - Pique - O'Shea
Park - Anderson - Hargreaves - Giggs
Tevez - Rooney If Neville is fit then him instead of Brown. A solid 2-0 win would be great at this point.

Im going with a nice 2-0 win.
Rooney to score a brace. I never like to face Boro especially at this time of the season but Im confident the lads will come through!

If Neville is fit then him instead of Brown. Neville isn't match fit, i'm sure Brown will play.

If Neville is fit then him instead of Brown. Neville isn't match fit yet but even if he was I wouldn't want him to come straight in. Browns been brilliant for us this season and should keep his place in the team.
