Don't worry mate, I've decided I'm not going to bother going to the City game, I'm now planning to be back in April for when we welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford.
I do have a question though, where would you guys say was the best area for atmosphere in the stands? I don't fancy being among the sandwich-munching posh folk.

Stretty or East Stand lower tier. Always good banter and sing-songs coming from there.
Look out for me in the North Stand lower, right in the middle, one of a small few who carries songs from the Stretford End over for the East Stand to really get going!

Right I see, I'll probably try and get a seat in the Stretford End. Can't wait!

I'm a free member of OneUnited, but when I get 40€-or-so spare, then I'm going to buy membership. I now realise the reason I couldn't get tickets for the City game is because I'm not a full member. Silly me

It may be hard to get tickets for the Chelsea game even with a One United membership.

I've used viagogo many times, its 100% safe goes throught the club, you pick up the tickets on matchday from the the ticket office. Sold at face value too, you just have to be a full One United member to be able to get them. Less hassle than going through a ballot.
