I'm going to be in Manchester for easter. What are the odds I will get a couple of tickets for the Chelsea game through the viagogo ticket exchange? Last year I bought tickets through another ticketing company and they weren't cheap, but I got to see the Villa game, so they were well worth it. It was my first game too!
I'm life-long United fan, but only now have I managed to afford to go. Don't tell my wife but that Villa game was my best experience ever.
Thanks for any advice.
Brgds Yergen

Brgds Yergen for next season mate, id advise just paying the 35 quid it costs to get a one united membership, this way you have a good chance of getting tickets for most games, and the 35 it costs to sign up to one united would more than offset rip off merchant ticket brokers like Viagogo. even if you only go once or twice. as for the chelsea game.......dont hold your breath

Peejay80: That's what I did for this year, but obviously I missed out on the ballot. Unfortunately, easter weekend is the only window of opportunity I have since I have to bring my wife and kids as well (to Manchester, not the game itself). We're visiting a couple of friends near Crewe and the family wanted a few more days than just a weekend.
So again, if I am a One United member, what are the chances of getting tickets for Chelsea through the viagogo ticket exchange? If too slim, are there any other exchanges you can recommend?

Cant guarantee anything Yergen. its going to be a massive title-deciding game and tickets are going to be hard to come by. Viagogo is legit and above board, so id try there first. if not, turn up at the ground early and try ya luck - someones bound to get stuck with an extra one at the last minute

depends how far back on the block you are. perfectly watchable though, my personal preference has always been to be behind the goals as long as its not at the back of the second teer. back of the first teer or front of the second teer is ideal for me. i prefer the perspective you get on the game

Always loved the atmosphere in the 2nd tier East. Last few times I've been there's been less stewards around and they completely lost control. My personal favourite is when they repeatedly tell you to stay in your seat and someone no doubt starts up: "Stand Up for The Champions"... Then just looks at the yellow jacket with this smug look that says: "Now tell 65,000 to sit you jumped up little muppet."

Thanks for your answers. Probably, I will have to use another ticketing agency then. Well, if I don't spend on seeing United, then what is there to spend on? Any do's and don'ts when buying from one of these leech ticket companies?
