Sorry to keep asking questions - does anyone know how busy the return trains are? Thinking of booking an anytime return to make it easier but you don't get a seat reservation which could be a problem because I do not want to stand for 3 hours! 90 mins is loads of time to get out and get to Piccadilly. The last few times I've been up just visiting the Trains have been hammered. Book your seat! Also 2 hours is the journey time, not 3 Cheers mate. 2 hours is still too long for a lazy bastard like me to not sit down! I'll have been standing on my seat hurling abuse at Klopp for the previous two hours as well...

Buy some beers to take with you too, they only sell shite like Carling in the little shop carriage they have on there

I've been making Skittles vodka at home, maybe take the red one up to celebrate my team... I also need to dig my scarf out of the shed, I put it away cos we're moving house in a few months but forgot I might need it for OT!

The worst thing for me about travelling back home from London, is it takes 75% of the time it takes to get from London to Manchester, to get from Greenwich to fucking Euston!!

Yeah I noticed that when I went to Manchester for work on the train in 2015. I'm moving to Canning Town (next to Greenwich) in July so it'll be even worse having to just go back on myself when I could hop out at Greenwich and save an hour if they'd let me...

Off topic Dek but do they still cost a bomb in the train shop? I know when I was traveling back to Scotland years ago a can of lager cost a bloody packet, so I would nip into an offy and buy a few cans and a bottle of wine to sup on my way back to Scotland.....and then land in Edinburgh pissed as a newt at less the cost lol.

Fucking hell!i could have 2 tickets for 590 euros for the chelsea home game in april. I could somehow afford the tickets but the flights and one night stay in manchester would absolutely break my financial possibilities at the moment.makes me mad as fuck right now

Not saying its not worth it but i'm still trying to get back on track after being unemployed.it hurts but i cant throw out the money if i dont even have it

Also found a guy here in switzerland who is renting his season ticket to other people if he cant attend a game. Didnt know that works? Just talked to him on the phone.seems a nice guy, lives 60km away from me. He's been having season tickets for 5 years now in the sir alex stand.and every season he gives tickets to others if he cant go to games.he usually just attends between 5-8 games a season.you can write him your wishes for a game and he gives you the tickets if you are the first. For games against teams outside of the top 6 he gives the two tickets away for 100 franks each.games against top teams its 150 each. Thats sounds like a damn good deal to me. I'll probably end up in manchester next season for a few games.

right people, i could need some help.
i`m trying to go to basel next week for our away game as i live just one hour away. i`ve been trying to get tickets for the away section but as you can imagine its damn difficult to get anything. and i dont really want to be within the home crowd when we score, obviously. my question is, do you guys know of anyone of your friends/families etc who usually go to away european games but cant manage to go next week? i`ve tried everything here in switzerland, been in contact with fan clubs etc but nothing worked so far. so one of my last chances is to ask everyone i know and maybe someone heard of someone else not being able to travel etc? maybe there are some spare tickets somewhere? someone being sick and not going etc? any help or idea would be welcome at this point.
cheers to all
