Right, so today Wigan are winning 2-0 at Villa right now Both goals by Luis Valencia. So if the result stands, or they draw, Wigan are confirmed safe from relegation and have nothing to play for against us next Sunday. Time now for Brucie to give his reserves a shot just to let us get the needed points and win the League

I am more worried about them being safe to be honest. They will play with more relaxation next week, if there fighting for there life they will be harder to beat but the nerves will be there.

Nah, they'll be safe, Steve Bruce will play some reserves, they'll be hungry but they wont have the quality, and we'll trounce them.

just like West Ham played without pressure and were relaxed today? Nah Wigan are safe, they wont play a weakened side, but a relegation battle can be draining and hopefully will be emotionaly drained after what has been a hard battle against relegation.

I'd go for the same team away to Wigan (obviously, Nani out, Giggs in), I think we'll win quite comfortably.

I'm pretty sure an amnesty kicked in regarding bookings so both players should be fine.

Magnificent. What a cracking goal from Tevez. Sheer class. Well, the Chavski boys will be having something to say, but I think its over now. Wonderful season.
I think the coaching staff don't get enough praise. When you bear in mind that this season is actually the first season THIS team has played with eachother, hats off to the players, hats off to Fergie, and hats off to Mike Phelan, Brian McClair and co.
Publicly, Fergie will be very professional and say that we haven't won anything yet, but tonight, when he sits back on his chair with his glass of claret, privately, I'm sure he will be celebrating being champion again.
Fergie, you da man! #worship#

Out of the last two matches I thought West Ham was the toughest one given their recent record against us. Now I'm not underestimating Wigan by any means, but I think they'll have a tough time dealing with a United side hungry for another title.

The one thing Im a little worried about is Palacios and Valencia trying to impress Fergie. They've been linked with summer switches and with Fergie watching they'll try there ass off.
Still overall Im confident in getting the result we need!

Is it true that we've beaten Wigan 4-0 each of the last 5 times we've played them?
