I'm going mad off the power. Text talk is now officially banned from the forum. Any post a member of staff comes across where u tlk like dis will be deleted automatically. No modification or warning, just a straight out delete. I've noticed a strong correlation between text talk with complete and utter tossers, so maybe if we get rid of text talk, we get rid of the knobbers. For those of you who don't consider yourself to be a knobber but use text talk, start practising talking propoh. If you use FireFox then all spelling mistakes will be underlined in red to help you out. I'm not going to get nazi on spelling, but intentional shortenings of words won't be accepted on the forum anymore. You have been warned... Scott, it was only a matter of time before 'text talk' manifested itself into forum threads. I bloody hate it myself; it's an abuse of the English language and just plain lazy. All this m8 (mate), t2go (time to go), thx (thanks) etc is literal carbage. I do like TMC (Too Many Acronyms) though! I think the smilies work well in the threads. |

start practising talking propoh. whats 'propoh'  Its proper...but in a manc accent (prop'or) As someone who uses apostrophes in his text messages I am totally in favour of this rule. Lets ostracise these half-wits. |
