Great to see some British grit and determination from Murray; a superb comeback. The guy was dead-and-buried at 2 sets down with the froggie serving for the match, but he showed real character to battle back and produce one of the best shots ever seen at Wimbledon. A great role model; certainly compared to those over-paid, egotistical, wasters in the England football team - with one or two exceptions!  The only downside is that he's got Nadal next.  |

Never liked Murray but i was surprised he managed to win that game. He's going to get a thrashing from Nadal though  In the womens: (7) Venus Williams (USA) bt Tamarine Tanasugarn (Tha) 6-4 6-3 (5) Elena Dementieva (Rus) bt (21) Nadia Petrova (Rus) 6-1 6-7 (6-8) 6-3 (6) Serena Williams (USA) bt (14) Agnieszka Radwanska (Pol) 6-4 6-0 Jie Zheng (Chn) bt (18) Nicole Vaidisova (Cze) 6-2 5-7 6-1 All top 4 seeds are out lol. I want an all Williams final!!! Jie Zheng is really the surprise this year. |

Probably going to be called off tomorrow because the weather is going to be pretty bad
( 28 degrees today and yet we hear of thunderstorms tomorrow.....only britain )
good news for Murray, knackered after that win, and hes notorious for his fitness
any extra time will only help him

I want to see federer make it six in a row and break the record. Nadal is chaging tennis with his power and fitness but Federer is the master and I wouldn't be surprised if federer brings his best game to the final.

By the way, just an observation here, but does anybody else find the BBC's after-match punditry funny?
The reason i say this is that i was watching John Inverdale interviewing John Mc Enroe and Boris Becker, and it looks like the gantry that they're sitting on is on top of some building in the Wimbleon compound. You can see people walking by behind them, and you can see the two main courts, it all looks a bit surreal.
It looked pretty funny when the three of them were sitting up there last week and it started getting windy!
