A TEEN has been arrested for wearing an offensive T-shirt advertising an extreme British heavy metal band.

The 16-year-old who wore a T-shirt by Cradle of Filth was charged with offensive behaviour on the Gold Coast in Australia.

The slogan read 'Jesus is a (expletive deleted)' and allegedly depicts a nun pleasuring herself.

The teen was walking along a road when he was stopped by Senior Sergeant Arron Ottaway on Monday.

"I'm not religious, but that's just offensive," said Sen Sgt Ottaway.
