Jermain Defoe grabs a consolation goal for Portsmouth. Beautifully crafted, turned away from his man and fired it past Ben Amos. Great goal. 2-1.

Foster's knee was sore that why he wasn't playing. Evans looked really good again tonight. And Tevez is looking like he means business. You can see the advantage of him having a proper rest already. Scholes? "Too old, past it, his legs are gone..." He's a genius. Simple as.

Definately the best game of pre-season so far. The passing was excellent and the team gelled quite well. Scholes was outstanding again and a great strike from Tevez, he deserved that.

The game was a bit slow in terms of pace, but I thought it was a good game to watch. I think that Vida was the man of the match he worked hard and made some important plays. Evans looked excellent, and could definitely be in the Starting XI if it wasn't for the duo that is Rio and Vidic.

That lad Evan's has a career infront of him, thats for sure. And what a strike by Tevez. Low and hard, beautifully placed.

Yep, Evans looks class. Here's to hoping Fergie doens't flog him to Sunderland. Possebon looks like he could become a class player too. He looks so comfortable on the ball and with the ball on either foot. Ala Scholes. I reckon he's gonna get a few first team appearances this season.

Boring game , was pretty slow but our passing was good. Evans was great last night as well. Evans and Possebon ooze class. I think he is lucky that Pique moved over to warm benches at Barca. Possebon is so comfortable with the ball at his feet. Scholes looked the sharpest and he some fair tackles too.
