Enjoyed the Game. Some of the youngsters showed great promisein the last couple of games. aGree we need a striker. Campbell ok as back up but not a serious contender for starting yet so we do look lightweight up front. If we get £8 mill for Saha that will be the best bit of business since selling a past his prime Sharpey to Leeds! Like Saha as a player but he's never fit to play. Think things couls start happening with transfer this next week. Lets hope so.

It was a pretty dull game really, 1st half was decent but the substitutions just stopped the flow of the game really. The "parade" was such a bloody let down! It lasted for about 5 mins max, not all the sections had good views to take pictures and yeah it was pretty boring!
There was a spoiled brat of a girl behind me singing "united" to different tunes than everyone else, complaining why we hadn't scored then loudly discussing that she was going to have gravy on her pie at half time, oh and then she was going to go early as well. It took all my effort not to turn around and throttle her!

to be honest it was a pretty average game. not really many clear chances bar 2 for each team. however i was impressed by our defensive structure. we did pretty well against quality opposition. i think we have a winner in rafeal but still we did lack some spark up front. also well done to those that clapped del peiro off, i thought that was very noble and on his part to clap the crowd.

Not the best of games. I enjoyed booing Sassoko! Bad points? THOSE FUCKING HORNS!!!! I even had a young kid next to me with a set of those blow up sticks that you bang together...one of them somehow managed to pop Also...not getting back home til after 4am because of the stupid bloody traffic!!! Highlights? The mexican wave that lasted about 5 laps of OT before it subsides going through the North Stand

What a snoozer. #yawn#
Not terrible I suppose being that it's just a preseason match, but I was hoping we'd thump Juve.

Finished 0 0 decent enough game, first half was better. Juve packed the defense, which in a friendly is a shame. Scholes' passing was worrying. Worrying? Besides a couple of stray passes I don't remember him doing badly at all with his passing. Especially in the first half, he was throwing the ball around with ease. Although yeah. Good game. Rafael and Possebon looked good.

From Del Piero's website -
"And on my exit from Old Trafford, the applause from the fans moved me and gave me a big emotion, for this I thank them."

From Del Piero's website - "And on my exit from Old Trafford, the applause from the fans moved me and gave me a big emotion, for this I thank them." Yeah he got a great ovation and when he was walking down the touchline he looked surprised that people were stood up and clapping him off.

Worst. Game. I've. Been. To. EVER Sooo Dull I still go again though John O'shea is not a midfielder, sometimes his touch is so bad I can't tell whether he's passing it first time or has miscontrolled it. Del Piero got a good reception, shame Ned Ved wern't playing. Giggs gives us nothing when playing as a striker. I'm excited by the fact that the loudest cheer when the team sheet was read out was for Rafael, shows he's now got an expectance about his play. The Mexican wave thing was Q.U.A.L.I.T.Y ( at least it got everyone cheering) however the horns were piss annoying and made up for those who did't know the songs. However I think the reason for the shit atmosphere was obviously for a high number of day trippers. I was in the Sretford end and their were young kids about.

Though I did think that it was sporting of the second tier in the north stand giving it a half hearted effort Del Piero just accept it you're a legend!
