He needs dropping clearly. Maybe we could bring in Smalling from the wilderness? Oh wait...... Let it go. Smalling wasn't good enough either. And now he is rightfully gone.

Rashford is an inside forward for me. He'll play wide the way Rooney, Messi, Ronaldinho did. He's not flying down the wing but looking to come inside and create/shoot. I think Telles at 3, Martial at 9 and Rashford at 11 could work in the Cole, Henry, Pires way, the 3 of them on that left, causing mayhem. On Maguire. Jesus Christ. Just remember that we spent 170M on him and Pogba combined. The fuck is wrong with this club. Rashford could be a top striker if he was just played as a number 9, all the assets are there. I'm hoping he learns something from Cavani while he's at the club because at present we don't have a real striker other than Cavani, who can play up top on his own. Rashford, Martial and Greenwood are your typical forward players, they can be brillant but sometimes you need a Vardy type player, who just occupies centre halves and gets in goal scoring positions. The penny has to drop sooner rather than later, there job is to score goals, strikers who don't score 25-30 goals a season are not real strikers at this level. Aguero has long spells out most seasons and he still grabs at least 20 goals every season.

All too patchy in their performances. When you consider the wealth of top class strikers we’ve had over the years, this lot are a real disappointment.

Rashford is fine where he is, out on the left. He’s moody as a player but still very young. Hopefully he’ll get more consistent as he gets older. He’s one thing we don’t need to overly worry about imo. He was on course for 25-30 goals last season until he got injured.

We best start putting an asterisk besides Bruno’s totals now so.

But it is something to take into consideration and we did get a lot of penalties last season. Same thing with Rooney’s last few seasons. How many were padded out with pens ?

How many were padded out with pens ? do you also wanna taken it into consideration when talking about the amount of penalties scored by ronaldo, van nistelrooy, irwin or cantona? the kid deserves some praise for actually stepping up at his age and taking responsibility during moments like the psg game for example. instead he gets slack for doing exactly that...i mean...😂

I think Smalling could have done a job for us. He might have even been our best centre back this season. But he's still not good enough. And I'd rather the club crashed and burned than brought not good enough players back in because they're slightly better than the not good enough players that we already have. Crashing and burning might get the Glazers gone that bit sooner.
