2nd half performance was much much better, but still not reached the level of last season I think. Rooney's on fire right now, great goal and play in general. It's almost as if he and Ronaldo have switched roles this season with Ronaldo coming up with quite a few asists. And Ronaldo's form is steadily improving too which will be great for the Christmas period with all the players hopefully fully fit. He deserved his goal today and Berbatov was getting involved a bit more in the game too. Well done to Nani for proving himself as a sub too. What a confidence booster for Rafael to put both Nev and Wes on the bench. He looked as strong as ever with a few mistakes that you can probably just put down to inexperience. Hoping he gets a few more chances like this.
Mightyez- dunno about Possebon's situation but he was in the stands watching today, he should be back soon.

good second half but to be honest WBA were very ordinary, no real threat, once the goal came it was a case of how many we could score, A bit flat first half, berbatov was very lethargic at times but some good moves and touches to get the goals flowing, rooney was excellent but I thought rafeal was excellent and is a really exciting prospect folks. Ronaldo took his goal well, despite his form fittness he is contributing to the team properly, very professional performance.

Well, I was not impressed today. Second half we were good, but poor in the first half. The players celebrations told the story for me in terms of a players ability and current state of mind. Go with me on this. When....
Rooney scored: Ran off like a mad man with a Roy of the rovers style slide on the pitch and a clear passion for the game Ronaldo scored: Look of a man who doesn't want to be at United Berbatov scored: Stood still. Much like his performances to date.
Last season, I watched United play Spurs in the league at O.T and Berbatov was excellent in the way he ran around the pitch, finding space to play in. One of the best I have seen at O.T. In the last 2 years, with no real target man, we have seen Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez etc bombing around the pitch, working for each other and not seeing the new boy do this is getting on my nerves. Today I heard so many groans from people about Berba not moving. Lazy. I never wanted him, but after we bought him I was dying to be proved wrong. Don't get me wrong, he's a top player but he needs to do more to fit in.
Ronaldo got on my nerves today. First time I have seen him this season and the feelings I had before are not there. He kept going down so easily and it was getting on my tits. He scored but he clearly did not care. Last season you saw him with that classy arrogance. Nothing today. Clearly not at the same level as last year. Time for him to go?
Rooney was man of the match today by far. He is looking good and a good goal too. Solid at the back as always (hope Evra's ok) with no real danger coming our way. Rafael maybe tried too much at times, but pretty good. Giggs was poor. His first 20 minutes were shocking, but he did improve to be honest. Fletcher was up there with the best for me today, Park non-existent.
I don't want people to think i'm slating the team. I mean we did win 4-0, but the first half really got to me. West Brom battled well I thought. Crowd were average. I'm glad we finally beat someone by a big score though.

Enjoyed myself today, played some top football and there's nothing better than seeing Wazza playing with a smile on his face. I got my prediction right too.. The goals are being spread out too, Rooney 4, Berba and Ronaldo 3, Tevez 2...which is great news for us. I think we'll see Tevez playing on Tuesday though, his energy will be needed against Celtic. Roll on, Tuesday!

Just got home from the game *yawns* Knackered throat as usual but just wanted to say that I thought the first half was piss poor with very slack passing and allowing WBA too much time on the ball. Second half was miles better but short of our potential. Key players for me were Rooney, Rafael (til substituted) Vida and Rio. Berbatov I thought was not good but showed some brilliant vision which he was unfortunate not to complete. Still looks disinterested for my liking

First half was poor , but we improved in the second half. we clearly lacked the creativity in the middle. Giggs did well in the second half though and Fletcher was great last night. Park was non existent. Ronaldo still looks like we his couple of weeks away from full fitness , he is improving with every game though. Berbatov was lazy ,but he is going to be like that. Some of his touches and through balls were excellent though. Rafael although looked a bit raw , was very impressive. The defence was solid as ever. Nani did well but West Brom were really poor , never really did anything. It was just the case of when and how many. Rooney by far was our best player , he is on fire. Pissed that his perfectly good goal was ruled out.
Its all clicking and we are getting there slowly. We've improved with every game , hopefully we do the same on Tuesday. This win must at least improve our confidence levels.

If that was a push by Rooney then I must be English royalty. 5-0 was the real score. Fair play to Wigan. They deserved far more at anfailed. Another year of pity for the bin-dippers.
The obligatory season-long Liverpool-media love-in starts here.

Berbatov should be ashamed of himself. Only 3 goals and about 4 assists in around 6 games is shocking. I wish we'd signed Robbie Keane. He covers every blade of grass for the cause. He couldn't fucking score in a Brothel that was running a free tab but that's beside the point. Isn't it?

Could it be that he's too much into the grass, hence he never scores? Or that grass is the only thing he can score? Or that... Ok, I'll stop now.
