I got the new Prodigy album yesterday and it's fucking rubbish, but then I've not listened to them since their classic 3 albums (The Prodigy Experience, Music for the Jilted Generation & Fat of the Land). I really dislike this whole punky thing they've gone for and they sound like a really crap KMFDM cover band (not that KMFDM are any good either). The album is really disjointed, souless, lacking in direction, immature, way too polished and really commercial sounding. I'm taking it back to HMV today, otherwise it's a waste of £8.99.

At the moment, I'm liking anything featuring and produced by Ron Browz. He has a tune out with R Kelly called 'club to a bedroom', one with Lloyd Banks called 'in love witcha boy' and a song of his own with Busta called 'I promise'.
I'm a fan of Sean Garrett's ' Feelin on my'.

I suggest you all appreciate Muse before they go classical Panic at the Disco's first album (A Fever You Can't Sweat Out) is way better than their second (Pretty.Odd.). There are some good songs on Pretty.Odd. (I like Northern Downpour and Mad as Rabbits) but its too Beatle-tribute for me personally. Folie a Deux (by Fall Out Boy): Collabarations. Everywhere. The Brendon Urie-Patrick Stump combination sounds pretty good in 20 Dollar Nosebleed and Debbie Harry is great on West Coast Smoker. But if you want something more...Fall Out Boy-y try their earlier albums (From Under The Cork Tree, Take This To Your Grave).

That goes for everyone actually.

any progressive metal lovers ? )) Depends what you mean by 'Prgressive' Metal? I'm not a fan of Opeth or Dream Theatre or any of that ilk, but I bum Cult of Luna, Isis, Neurosis etc. Also, the last With Passion album was quite proggy, but not in the truest sense.

any progressive metal lovers ? )) My girlfriend is a fan of Prog Metal, listens to things like Dreamtheatre, Riverside, Symphony X, Opeth, Ayreon, Cynic, Pain of Salvation and so on. I enjoy a bit, namely Opeth and Riverside, but a lot of Prog Metal bands seem to use warbly, high pitched Power Metal vocals similar to that of bands like Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Gamma Ray and Helloween, which I'm not a fan of. As for recommending stuff... Fen - The Malediction Fields Wolves in the Throne Room - Black Cascade Winterfylleth - The Ghost of Heritage Gustav Mahler - 5th Symphony Celestial Bloodshed - Cursed, Scarred And Forever Possessed Lightning Swords of Death - The Golden Plague

And a big yes to Wolves In The Throne Room. Oh, the bew Heaven and Hell album is the best thing to be released this year. Not an opinion, but stone cold fact!

Now it's time for smth old an new in the same bottle and something strange and innovative. But i will have to say music is at the crossroads nowadays the same as this fucking place called earth.
