I've been listening to a lot of Wardruna recently. They're a Norwegian 'folk' group who are heavily influenced by ancient Nordic culture and use a lot of traditional instruments. I discovered them through watching Vikings.
These are a coupe of my favourite tracks of theirs:

I love most traditional folk music and it's derivatives, from bluegrass to blues to Celtic to sea shanties, so I'm glad I found Wardruna. The only downside is all the 'muh heritage' white nationalists that show up in the Youtube comments.

If there is one good thing to come out of that shite Lukaku song, is that it reminded me just how good the Stone Roses' first album is. I must have played it half a dozen times in the car over the last few days.

Grampy loves the blues, and has tickets to go see Robert Cray in March, told doc not to even think about hip replacement before that My lady is pretty an petite, but mighty, she can carry me NOTE I am a concert rat, first concert was Led Zeppelin in Iowa City, I wasn't quite 12 yo, love the energy of great show.. Amazing the vibe in a 50K seat stadium when everyone is rockin! Only thing better would be trip to Old Trafford jeeeeez talk about energy !

I was pretty excited to get a copy of the prophets of rage album. It's a bit meh. Maybe it's a grower.

Geeeeezer Tunes!
Saw every one of these guys at one time or another live. Love guitar, and for me, the old rock and blues the gitfiddles really shine.

That's the one. I've seen a few live videos and they look awesome. Mate if mine saw them live and said they were spectacular. The album seems a bit lightweight compared to RATM though
