I know I'd given the Constellation album a few spins in the past and liked some of it, but never got truly sucked in. Likewise the subsequent albums seemed okay in parts but were just too much over their entirety. When the newest one came out I found myself really liking it (unlike some long term fans it seems) went back through the back catalogue and it just clicked for me.

Not slayer! Shit, these girls can play! 4 years ago i went on an 2 month asian tour with my old band. we played in china, south korea and japan. we got blown away by the quality and musicians in japan, literally every fucking night. i remember one show we played in osaka and one of the bands that opened for us that night were 4 15 year old girls in a metal band playing their 2nd concert ever. we were mindblown, standing there with open mouths and were actually ashamed to go on stage later on. they were so insanely good.

Awesome. What's your instrument? I played guitar a long time ago. I've still got it actually, I kinda stopped playing once I settled down. I'd sit for fucking hours playing though. Loved it. I didn't learn many songs but made loads of stuff up.

Been hearing about this band lately, The Winter Flood, this is called 'Fire It Up'.
Has a kind of a Thom Yorke vocal going on towards the end of the track.
It's a grower after a few listens, genuinely beautiful song.

My mate told me a few weeks ago to have a listen to this guitar-driven indie band called Bouts.
This is called 'Love's Lost Landings (part 1).
Absolute belter of a tune!

The singer couldn't sound anymore like Robert Plant.

i have seen almost all musicians and artists i ever wanted to see live. played between 300-350 shows myself or even more, i never counted. and there are very few musicians i still want to see. after being isolated in my appartement for the last couple of months i`m going to a show tomorrow evening with my girlfriend. going to see WARDRUNA live in zürich, one of my all time favourite artists, his music walked with me in the past and during arguably the toughest time in my life. its inspirational and just brings out emotions after emotions in me. i cant say how happy i am to got there tomorrow and it will be absolutely, monumentally epic and beautiful and emotional.

New Devil Master for anyone who likes Black metal. been out of black metal for a while. out in the sense that i dont really follow new stuff and got stuck with bands like wolves in the throne room for a while, who are still among my favourite artists. what kind of black metal do they play? oh and by the way: i cant believe there is finally a release date for a new TOOL album!! 30th of august. been waiting for 12 fucking years for that
