Everything OK mate? I get it if your struggling with the lockdown, we had the same shit in Melbourne for months on end, just got on with it at first but really frayed at my nerves eventually. Just try to do what you can to get through it. It won't last forever, try to find the positives. I saved quite a bit of cash up by not going out every weekend. Caught up on a lot of reading. Watched some shows and movies. Got a kitten to help us through it (not got her just due to Covid, the wife has wanted one for years this was just a got opportunity to finally get one), spent quality time with my wife, fighting was actually very rare thankfully. Fuck the football off, United are shite at the minute, don't let that get you down, it is what it is. Nothing any of us can do about it, so try and focus on your energies on the things you can do something about. Thanks man. Just a tough day. I've been thinking about getting a cat myself. I'm going through a divorce and bought a house were I don't know anyone. Unfortunately, I can't get to know the neighbours etc either! If it's interactive company you need, I'll say a dog is better than a cat. The empathy and camaraderie you get with dogs is very rarely replicated with cats. Cats are great too, but their temperament is varied I've seen. Some cats are lovely cuddle bunnies while others don't like it at all. One thing to obviously consider is the work involved. Dogs take time effort and work. Cats are pretty much self sustaining lol. Keep a litter and a food bowl and they will be more than happy by themselves. Not to mention cats are a lot cleaner and tidier.

I would prefer a dog but due to work and being out for 12 hours a day, it wouldn't be fair. Dogs are ace though. We always had them growing up.

RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore. Did infinitely more for the UK than any of those snivelling bastard politicians ever did.

What a brilliant day today has been. I've not been as happy as this for a good few years. First proper valentines day (eve) with my lady. There's life in this old dog yet!

Have at it pal!! Love to hear you’re on the up I'm like a teenager again at 48! I made her a wonderful meal, got her some fancy earrings and some very expensive lingerie! Yep, today has been epic! That’s fantastic!! I lived through an abusive and adulterous relationship for 18 years before finding my soulmate later in life. Enjoy every second of it, as it’s the most amazing feeling imaginable. Especially that lingerie...

Don’t know if anyone has seen BBC news in UK today, it ran a piece about a young Peterborough defender Bobby Copping who suffered a concussive injury when heading a football ,ended up in hospital and has had to retire from the game. The lad was only 19 when it happened. Fair play to Harry Kane and others who’ve offered him support. And fair play to Peterborough too who’ve kept him on in a business development role.
