I probably phrased it wrong tbh. When I say no one else exists, its like if we were out for a meal, I would barely notice other people there. Walking down a street and she commented on how good looking this woman was who walked past. I'd not even noticed. I am truly devastated. A fucking big black hole has swallowed me up. I even bought a new house last year in another town hoping one day, we might make a home together. Life sure sucks right now. That sucks mate. Really does. To lose someone you care for so much is one of the worst feelings. The real kick in the teeth is that she has gone back to her ex. He wasn't a very nice bloke, mental and physical abuse etc. I treated her like a queen. Its a real confidence crusher. Horrible feeling.

It’s not a crumb of comfort as such because it’s shit whichever way you look at it, but it’s not a reflection on you pal. Abusers can have a psychological hold over their victims, you’re not the inferior man in this equation.

So, in the last week my father has passed away, we had to go to hospital as my wife fucked her ankle, Melbourne has passed the record for longest time in lockdown in the world; and now just been hit by a decent sized earthquake.
Whole house was shaking, that was genuinely scary. The two of us looking at each other, starting to panic, and the cat lying on the mat visibly not giving a single fuck.
Can't wait to see what's next.

Was pretty trippy though, never had that before, looking like about a 6 on the scale, those big 9 ones must be terrifying to experience

Didn’t see our cat at the time (like yours, I doubt she was particularly bothered) but apparently our 2 dogs pricked their ears up and looked concerned. We’ve had fires, floods, pestilence and now an earthquake. I’m hoping to at least get a beer in a pub again before Armageddon!

The killings of Sara Everard and Sabina Nessa truly are quite rage inducing.
The Everard case especially because it's perpetrated by someone entrusted with the lives of the citizens and a solemn duty. He got a life sentence, but I would have preferred the death penalty. Controversial opinion but I believe this sort of crime deserves it. How dare he deprive her family members of the rest of her life.
Sabina Nessa was murdered almost outside her home. I mean, it's horrifying to think that you aren't safe even at the doorstep of your own house.
Apalling.

The horrible cunt was a known flasher, his colleagues nicknamed him 'the rapist' due to his creepy nature and his female colleagues were terrified of him. How was he still a police officer? This was very preventable

Thing is he's now in prison for the rest of his days, never to be released. Might aswell give him the needle and save the tax payers money. For instances like this the death penalty should be brought back.

It's fucking appalling. Sad state of affairs when one of the first things I said my mum needed to get my 18 year-old sister, as she's just gone to Manchester Uni this year, was a rape alarm and to make sure she has it on her at all times when out and about. Says it all.
Something kind of clicked with me with all this last year, the fact that we're all brought up in a society where we're kind of immune to the fact men rape and murder women on a regular basis. Like, it happens so much that a lot of it doesn't even make the news.
