Looks like turnout is very low this year and I’m not surprised. I didn’t vote. Always been Labour and glad they’ve turfed the Tories out but I’ve become so disillusioned with British politics in recent years. Not a massive fan of Starmer but he’s got 5 years now to force me out to vote for them next time. I do think the criticisms thrown at him, that he’s boring and sensible, are a bit stupid though. After recent years I think this country probably needs someone sensible and boring. Fuck do we need boring politics or what? It's become a pantomime |

It’s a two-term job they’ve got on their hands really, hopefully that time is afforded to them. You’d look at the majority and say that will never be overturned by the next election, but then they said that in 2019 didn’t they. Be interested to see if they fly out of the gates with something that wasn’t in the manifesto. I believe Blair did that in ‘97. Not that this change in government has massive Blair vibes about it, mind. |

i didnt vote because theres not a party out there that aligns with my principles.
Labour - Stamer who said there was not enough evidence to prosecute Jimmy Saville. hes also part of the WEF & globalist cult
Tories - robbed the country blind in covid giving out PPE contracts, parties, contracts to family, etc etc the list goe son. also part of the WEF & Globalist cult
Reform - no idea who was my reform candidate in the local area and dont agree with all their principles - do agree on them calling out the WEF though.
Lib Dems / Greens - no chance.
the amount of people not voting clearly shows the disgust of british politics

Anything to be said for the low turnout at the first general election where photo ID was required?
We know the people that this rule impacts and we know that’s why it was implemented. I come across hundreds of them through work. Countless people will not have voted due to this.
