My 11 sure GK Foster Dr Rafael DC Evans DC Vidic DL O'Shea ML Nani MR Park MC Gibson MC Anderson MC Possebon FC Tevez
With a welbeck subsitution about 70 minutes in and a stoppage time screamer from the same man... 4 5 1 i know not a popular choice but its what id go with

Should be an interesting game. I just hope that my pie stays warm for longer than one minute or I'm gonna freeze up there!!

Foster Rafael Evans Ferdinand Evra Park Anderson Giggs Nani Welbeck Tevez Giggs and Ferdinand for experience, Nani and Tevez so they can get back in rhythm, and Welbeck so he can score from 20-25 yards again. Also, hopefully Manucho gets subbed in around the 65th-70th minute, and maybe Fabio as well. Prediction: 3-1 United Tevez, Welbeck and Nani/Manucho/Rafael--one of the three--to score. (I'm optimistic )

Ha I couldn't possibly comment guys! Must be the Brut or Old Spice! Anyhow, back on topic. The Carling Cup team is always difficult to fathom. However, taking into account that Burnley and Derby are already in the semi's, our chances are looking bright should we progress tonight; not an easy task as Blackburn will be thinking on similar lines. Although we completely bossed them in our League encounter, I am not expecting anywhere near the same team. I think it will be usual mix of 1st team squad members and reserves. GK: Foster DR: Rafael DC: Vidic DC: Evans DL: O Shea MC: Giggs MC: Possebon MR: Anderson ML: Nani FC: Tevez FC: Manucho I'll go for 3-1 to United; hopefully something to warm the fans up on what will be a chilly evening. Enjoy your pies!!!

This competition has opened up for us, so i expect a young but strong side tonight. Will be good to see some of the fringe players and i hope Carlos grabs a couple because his confidence needs a massive boost.
Will be tested to the limit tonight on my policy of always wearing my short sleever whatever the weather!
