Of all matches, this was the one in which Gomes decided to hit form in goal

Not the best result, nor the worst considering.
One thing that has become increasingly apparent is that we really need to become more precise in our play in order not to drop more points and to make games easier for ourselves.

We are dropping too many points, too many draws. This is eerily like Liverpool of last 2 seasons with their ability to just end up with draws, only in our case its mostly away games.

Wank, wank, wank. Poor performance and terribly frustrating. No clear cut chances created despite much more possession and again, we haven't taken advantage of a good day of results. Watch Chelsea win tomorrow. I predicted a draw but to do it that way has pissed me off. O'Shea is a joke and with 3 games left till Evra returns, its not looking good. I try to stick up for players but i'm really losing my patience with him. Hopefully Fabio will be fit soon so we can give him a go, but his twin brother has had better days. Rio missed a great chance and Vidic was solid. Park played ok, got himself about, Ronnie didn't do much. Carrick and Fletcher were probably our best players today. Tevez put in the effort and was the better of our forwards. Berbatov bottled it today and he let the crowd get to him. Why did Fergie bring Tevez off for Giggs? Berba didn't do fuck all, again!! That shit will make Carlos want to leave and why Giggs? Nani was much the better option and Anderson should have been on the pitch at some point. My God, I am pissed off tonight. Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Before the Villa game, the last time we drew 0-0 was against Reading last season on the first day of the season. We have now had that result in 3 of our last 7 games. I wonder what has affected our goalscoring?

The good things from this game is that Rafael had a good game, defensively, and Park played very well! Berba, on the other hand, looked very intimidated for the first 75 minutes. And of course Gomes decided to be good today. We should have won

UNITED manager Sir Alex Ferguson was left frustrated by the goalless draw at Tottenham as his side failed to take advantage of Liverpool and Arsenal both being held to draws earlier in the day.
United remain six points behind Liverpool at the top of the table, while Chelsea could open up a seven-point gap if they are victorious when they host West Ham on Sunday.
“It is frustrating. I think we dominated the game, but we just needed a little bit of luck,” Ferguson said.
“Their goalkeeper made two fantastic saves at the end.
“But you have to be worried about the counter-attack that you could lose it also. (Luka) Modric had a terrific shot near the end that just glanced over that could have embarrassed us.”
He added: “Tottenham are not an easy team to play, they are on a high at the moment. Since Harry has come in they have been rejuvenated.
“It’s not the worst result but I would have liked to have got an extra two points as that makes a huge difference.
“After the draws today you hope to take advantage, but now hopefully there will be a draw tomorrow at Chelsea.”

It looks to me, for the first time this season, that Fergie is worried.
