Ferdinand injured in the warmup!
Evans now with Vidic in the centre of defence; not a major problem in my book.

Superb hard fought win. Well deserved the 3 points and even though we had to scrape through for the win, certainly not a bad performance considering we just got back from Japan.
Tevez was simply magnificent. Too bad he was ruled offside. Otherwise he would have scored earlier. Very pleased with the result.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Well, that was a tough one. We really needed the win there and that man Carlos steps up again with a late one. Poor performance all round though to be fair and the game was destined for a red card. The officials were terrible with loads of pointless bookings and when Tevez was given offside even though he was the distance of a bus onside. Did us a favour though after another stupid kicking out moment from Ronaldo and Wayne should have walked for throwing an elbow. We'll be hearing about that i'm sure. In contrast, Ballack shoved a hand into a West Brom players face and just got a yellow. Hmmm...
I'll take the 1-0 but we need to make improvements, though the team selection did leave a question mark. Why wasn't Anderson and Nani in the squad and why didn't Carrick start? I was hoping the club World cup would give us a lift, but I didn't see it today. Must do better.

Well thank the Santa this game is over and we have 3 points , cause we were piss poor today. Yes the players might have been tired from all the travelling and Stoke kicked us every chance they got but there is no excuse for this kind of shitty performance. VdS and Vida are the only ones who deserve any credit, Giggs and Neville did f**k all except messing up almost every pass and O'shea&Evans looked lost quite a few times.....and what bothered me the most was Ronaldo&Rooney acting like twats again...ok they were kicked all over the park but there is no excuse for it and this is worrying, because our players can't control their nerves when things get tough......team selection has once again disappointed me, i really hoped Rafael would get a chance and we've been seeing very little of Nani this year and i think they would make a difference with their speed today, and Anderson was very good in the last games. Again a shite performance but we've got 3 points and that is all that matters really BUT we need to raise our game asap cause we might not be so lucky like today.

Very ordinary performance by the lads. Tevez was the only attacker who seemed like he wanted to be there. Thankfully that was enough for us today. Evans apart from that miscommunication in the opening minutes had a superb game and like mentioned earlier when Vidic or Rio are out I have total faith in Jonny.

Neville had his best game for Utd in ages. Can't believe someone here is giving him stick on today's performance. Credit where credit is due. Anyway, our defense is keeping us in it at the minute. The forwards will click eventually(won't they?!) but lads at the back have been superb recently. 6 clean sheets in a row in the league.
