I dnt think its over reacting man, apart from Stoke, Hull, Aalborg, Pompey, we have been piss poor this season! Tonight is the cherry ontop of the cake!

TK was good at shot stopping, Evans and Vidic and O Shea all looked lost.. I think Vidić is the only one who did his job properly and we could be further behind if it wasn't for him. The rest of the defense was totally lost so thank god Evra and hopefully Rio are coming back.

It says Derby County 1-0 Manchester United. I'm sorry but Manchester United weren't playing tonight. That was NOT Manchester United. Hopefully the real Manchester United reappear on Sunday. I look forward to it. That's all I have to say.

Even if i think really hard i can't remember of one game this season in which we dominated like last year and we were fully on top of things. This game just ruined my week

My crack analysis... 1 - This is happening all too frequently for it to be ignored or glossed over. Either the players expect success to fall out of the sky or the hairdryer isn't working. 2 - The whole midfield was completely useless today and we will be destroyed on Sunday and against Inter unless something changes. 3 - Nani is not worth a place in the reserves. Without continually harping on it...will someone explain what Nani offers to the team? 4 - Anderson is a decent holding midfielder but offers very little going forward and can't even get into dangerous positions to bundle something over the line. 5 - We never looked like scoring...against a team fighting relegation in the Championship!!! That's quite damning! 6 - Our shooting from range this season has been shocking!!! Free kicks included! At least hit the bloody target. 7 - Paul Scholes needs to aim at the left side corner flag just to hit the target...there's so much swerve on his shots lately. 8 - We deserved what we got today. This wasn't a fluke or a stand out performance by their keeper (who is crap). 9 - Players better start giving a damn in the return leg because keep playing like this and it's our only chance at silverware! Take that Andy Gray!

its fantastic when after one bad result all of a sudden everyone must critise something
one thing is for sure, scholes and anderson cant play together in midfield, none of them is more defensive/holding midfielder

Meh, fucking Micky mouse competition anyway ;D Never mind. One team beats us every year that you don't expect so i'm glad it was in this competition. We can batter them in the return game and we'll be playing Spurs. I'm not even fussed to be honest because i'm that confident. Derby have a new manager and they are playing to impress. Shite result, but we will make good for it. Put it behind us and concentrate on a bigger game coming on Sunday.

To be fair, who cares? Who here honestly does not think we will be in the final come March?
I no the performances are worrying but we will come good, how can we not? We, apart from Barca have the most world class players in our squad and have proved they gel. All will come good.

Yes we will come good, but when?? We have been saying that from the start of the season till now and we still haven't shown any progress in form. Yes I am fully confident we will get through to final, but on this kind of performances that will be it.

For fucks sake we lose one game and the doom and gloom starts. We were shite no doubt but for fucks sake its one game. i dont think people really care about losing to derby in the c.c it is the m.m cup after all but its just the fact that we're not playing at our best and its getting kind of worrying. we got some big games coming up and we better buck our ideas up

Agreed with most on here. Im not up for slating the team based on one loss in the Carling Cup. It's the fact that our team have not looked like they're the world champions. We have'nt hit top form and we're constantly left saying "Next game, next time we'll play well"
WE NEED TO START PLAYING GOOD FUCKING NOW!!
If we play like that against Chelski they'll be laughing all the way back to the fucking bridge, as for Inter, well i dread to think if we don't get things sorted quick.
BRING BACK QUIROZ!!!

When is the last first half goal we scored? When is the last game you said...that's the United I love? Who have we beat this year? It's not just one bad game...it's one bad result. Big difference.
